Very nice, surprisingly large hotel. The room was of a reasonable size but most importantly: clean. Rooms are also modern. The service from all staff we came into contact with was great. All where professional and friendly. The location of this hotel is hard to beat as it is on the shore of Chocolate Lake. The reserant in the hotel has good food and the included breakfast in the morning is one of the better you will find. This hotel is a HIGH recommend!
Sad to see the quality of this place go down. I’ve been in the past and it was a lot better.nThe room wasn’t fully cleaned, there was a cracker from a previous guest on the floor, one of our towels were dirty and the conditioner dispenser was empty.nnWe ordered food to go from the restaurant and it was very disappointing. Dried out turkey on the club sandwich, a hair on the steak and a severely over cooked steak. The chocolate cake was soggy and tasted like uncooked flour. Al for $67.nnVery disappointing and hesitant to return.
Great cozy place. Have been staying for a week and felt like home. Friendly staff, good spread of breakfast in the mornings. Good staff and made me comfortable during my stay. Highly recommend. The restaurant staff were awesome and the food is really good. Should try the Lakeside Burger. I have ordered that at least 4 times during my stay.
Loved our stay! Great for families and dogs. The pool, arcade room and breakfast buffet was awesome! The room was spacious and clean, great location. 5 minutes from Halifax shopping center and 10 to five guys! Would go back for sure.
My room had huge windows, the whole room with view of the lake. It was very comfortable and beautiful. All the services were excellent. The food we had at the restaurant at the hotel was awesome. Loved it all. It was all on point very good. Will be coming back here on my trips to Halifax.
