Went in to buy a cell phone not on contract. Was reluctantly shown one phone behind glass after the sales person went to get help. I was told that's all they have. Noticed a rack of phones in packages. They said something like, "Ya, sure," and they ignored me from that point on. Found a great selection at another store and received prompt, cheerful help. Not impressed by Best Buy store staff! This was the third less than positive experience I've had there. Prefer buying online and dealing with customer service there.

Bought a 75 inch LG TV.
No one wanted to take my order while 6 associates stood around at the front.
The store computers were screwed up so took over half an hour to place order.
Asked if I wanted e receipt. Not knowing she was putting me on the mailing list.
Have unsubscribed but the mail keeps coming.
Confirmed 9 o'clock delivery time.
The day before the delivery they phoned and said they would unpack place TV and take away the recycling.
Driver showed up at 1040.
Told were not best buy we are just drop and go.
This after I arranged my son to help me unpack and place the TV. Since they phoned and said they would do it I cancelled the assistant.
Phoned the store and told them the predicament they had caused. They said don't worry we will take care of it. Two hours later they phoned me and said we are too busy too bad.
You better be getting one hell of a deal other wise I wouldn't recommend them to anybody.
Also didn't wear booties. Mud everywhere.

Just like any retail store, the experience depends on the knowledge of staff - especially in a technology related store. I've always had good luck here. If I get a salesperson who doesn't know the answer to my questions, they get someone who does. Plus, they have a great return policy if things don't work out - 5 stars

Terrible service and knowledge of the products they sell. Simply went in to look and purchase a smart watch - demo of product went "missing temporarily" - later found on the wrist of another sales person. ANY question I had about the product led the sales person to refer to the product and bestbuy website on his phone. It's no wonder why people just purchase things online and not waste their time with useless sales persons

Bought a computer! Everything was in stock but we didn't want to buy the extended warranty... had to refuse 3 times for the sales rep to stop offering it.
