The Brick - Peterborough

Awesome location, friendly and helpful staff and some great deals. Ordered a Washer Dryer for a really good price with free delivery. The person who delivered it and was supposed to I stall it wasn't really interested in actually installing the steam part and claimed the the vent whole was too small but it fit perfectly when I put it together. He was quite rude but I'm unsure if those people have any relation to this location or what so I won't blame the location. Tyler was really informative and helpful. Also got a mattress delivered later on with the help of Karen and those delivery guys were quick and nice.

3 November 2017 19:31 aaaah, The Brick: buyer beware, so, you buy the extended warranty on a refrigerator, after 5 years; if no claims, you get your money back. nice. BUT, hidden in the fine print and never divulged at purchase...you get a store credit, not a refund. worse, you can only use it in the furniture department. you cannot use the credit for electronics and you can't even use it towards another appliance ( not even a fridge ). you also have to use it within 90 days of the 5th anniversary or it disappears. so, they did not get my business to buy a new TV and.. will never see me come through their doors again. e-mailed them Nov 3, here we are Nov 6, no reply

Just went to The Brick to order new appliances for my mother and then she can come in tomorrow to sign the sale paperwork as due to mobility issues it is difficult for her to get around the store much to shop. This way it is much simpler and quicker for her she was able to see the appliances online and choose what she wanted and the paperwork is all prepared so she only needs to go in quickly to sign it. We could have ordered it online I'm sure but this way at least somebody local gets a commission. I've always had very positive experiences with The Brick and with the products purchased from there. And it is my preferred and recommended local store for the large type of items like appliances and furniture and mattresses where you would most likely want to touch them and see them in person before spending such a large amount of money. In fact I'm particularly glad that I did so with one of the items because after seeing the one that we had chosen I was not happy with it and so chose a different refrigerator.

Thousands spent. They do keep the customer happy. But the warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on.

The worst experience I have ever had. My wife and I attended the Bricks midnight maddness sale on Oct 6 2017. The sales man had no idea about the mattress warranty and insisted that you buy a box spring and mattress cover in order to not void your new warranty. Also the sales people meet everyone who was lined up outside and gave everyone a 100 dollar savings card that could be used on any purchase above 499.00 . It came to the purchase of our new mattress and I tried to use the 100.00 savings card then they tell us that the savings card cant be used between the hours of 9 pm and 12 am on Oct 6. Why would the Brick and their sales people be allowed to miss leaded their customers. I will really think twice before dealing with the brick ever again. I would. NOT recommend this Brick location to anyone. Please go else where to shop for your home needs.
