Beck Taxi

This is a general commentary on Beck cabs. I have been taking cabs all over town for a number of years and I have Beck on speed dial. I have certainly encountered a few unpleasant drivers and had a few aggravating experiences, however, 98% of the drivers that I have encountered have been considerate, helpful - sometimes to a surprising degree - and pleasant, and for the most part, the cars have been comfortable and clean. I also find the dispatchers usually to be helpful and courteous. I will happily continue using Beck. Christmas Eve 2017. Heavy snow falling. I called Beck to take me to a family party. I was warned that they could not predict how long it would take for a cab to pick me up, but in view of the weather, that made sense and I was prepared to wait. The cab arrived within 5 minutes! The driver was a careful driver, and very friendly and kind and even helped me to carry my parcels through the 5 inches of snow to my sister's house. At the end of the evening, I called Beck again at 9:30 to take me home and received the same information about waiting times. Again, the cab arrived within about 7 minutes and again the driver was very careful. Despite the snow, we arrived back at my home in the same time that it would ordinarily take without snow. It seems most people only bother to write a review when service is bad. I have found Beck to be reliable, fast, and the drivers to be pleasant. I used to use another company exclusively until there was a steady drop in reliability. I tried a few other cab operators, and Beck won. Beck gets its cars to my door quickly -- I've never had more than a 15-minute wait, and most often it's much less than that. I will add that I believe Uber to be a terrible evil based on much research and reading. I will further add that I am in no way, shape, or form affiliated with any taxi company or related service.

I work at a restaurant and called my patrons a cab from my mobile . I do not know these people, but they did not pay their cab bill. Because I called from my mobile at my place of employment I am AM responsible for people I don't even know end there lack of payment. ( the company says) I have clock in times and a letter from my employer stating that I never left the building and had called the cab for patrons . I am telling all my friends!!!! using Uber from now on!!! And taking this company to court!!! I also shared my review on social media pages publicly!!!

Every time I get in to a one of their taxi's I feel like I don't want to touch anything. Very dirty vehicles! Purell please! I don't understand, if your main job is driving and picking up/dropping off people - then don't you think your car should be a clean environment? It's like your office at the end of the day. And while some drivers are excellent, the last 5 out of 7 experiences I've had, the drivers seems like they have road rage issues and are very impatient. Some don't seem to know their way around the city either. They almost seem puzzled when you provide them with an address or intersection. Honestly, taxi's should be clean and the driver's should act nice...and at the very least say Hi. After all, don't you want me to use you again?

I use Beck regularly to pick up items as I am in a wheelchair. They are the kindest most considerate and the people answering the phones are superb!!!!!! I do pay, but am happy to pay when the old adage of "service with a smile" is what comes to mind. I trust them with sensitive items and have never been disappointed or had to complain, and this has been more than 2 years at this point. Keep it up Beck, you rock!!!!!
