Well folks, it all depends on where you live relative to the station. I live 4 km from this station, have walked there or back home a few times to avoid leaving my vehicle, but at times I have left my vehicle there for weeks. The GO system is really good, inexpensive, but it is public transport so of course you must deal with the pendejos around you. Strap on your headphones and ride. $12 to Union Stn. from Barrie South?!? I burn that much in gas just getting to 400. Ride on. Sometimes it is fun.

Sure wish the would extend the Via Rail trip to Barrie instead for way more room and overall Comfort! I would easily choose 6-1/2 hours using Via Rail direct to Barrie over this 2-stop Way! Perhaps one day...

I'm never one to write a review - for this I will. I'd like to shout out to the bus driver who came all the way from Union Station, to the New Market go bus terminal, to grab myself and about 5 other people - to drive us to Barrie. I believe that took great dedication considering the circumstances ( horrible weather, it was out of his way, the time, and i am sure he has a life outside of work.) Considering he has never driven to Barrie before. Thank you so much !! - Spring
