WARNING: My car had items stolen from it here. I have only ever parked here once. I had items STOLEN from my car. Luckily nothing of great value/significance: a couple of energy drinks, my gym shoes, a hoodie. They left a bunch of electronics that would have been fairly easy to grab. Oddly enough they left a 12v to outlet adapter, charging cable, and LED light puck. I guess this was a trade? They also left my change or just didn't find it. I am guessing it was a homeless person given they took clothing/drinks. I'm just glad I didn't have more clothes with me as I already don't have a lot as it is. A small part of me hopes that what they took serves them well, but I am upset about the breach in privacy. Not even going to bother filing a report as the thief will never be caught. My car has auto door locks and this must have been about the only time they didn't engage. 90% of the time they've locked again after I've unlocked the doors while walking up to the car...Either way I will be more careful with my doors going forward. Obviously this is not a great area if you can't even leave a car there for less than 12 hours without having items stolen from it. I am never leaving my car at this lot again. I am not from Barrie, I was meeting someone there. Is this just typical of all of Barrie?
Awesome carpool lot that is extremely convenient to get to! Right off Essa road in Barrie - just moments away from highway 400 - and a gas station and a Tim Hortons! Very good!
Good place to drop off and meet for csrpools.
