Worst hospital ever!!! So frustrated. Do not bring your children even if an emergency. Better drive all the way to Toronto, better chance there for them to be seen. Brought my 5 yrs old daughter through the emergency today.nShe was sent home from school because she was puking, crying from Headache, fever and stomach pain. Brought her home first but symptoms continued so we rushed her to emergency.nAt the hospital now, already waited 6 hours with a puking crying child and still no doctor has seen her. 2 nurses have come just to ask the same questions of what happened. No doctor . No tests. So frustrating waiting so long. Even more frustrating is all the nurses outside talking, doing nothing and when we asked how much longer, should we run some tests so while we’re waiting we can also wait for results, what’s wrong with my child, its been over 6hrs all of them keep giving a blank looks saying “I don’t know”.nMy poor child. Now that we’ve been here 6hrs, maybe the doctor will finally come. But what finally to decide she should actually have some tests done and then we’ll have to wait longer, just send us home?!nNever been so frustrated about any doctor/nurse/hospital… but this place, STAY AWAY!!!!
I just had an extremely unpleasant experience ,and intimidating behaviour from a health professional? Very rude give you attitude left and right. There are hospitals that you go and see their services like new Major Mackenzie Health in Vaughan excellent services. This HRVHospital the nurses and doctors they see you waiting they walk around singing talking and enjoying their time . You wait 10-12 hours nothing is happening it’s absolutely ridiculous. People faint and the nurses in front desk they try to ignore it .
I had knee replacement surgery today and I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Dr S McKenzie and his crew Ken,Tom, Jenny and unfortunately cannot remember all the names were impeccable. Very informative and friendly made me feel very comfortable my anesthesiologist was amazing My day nurse Kate Surgery 2 and my night nurse Emily were amazing took care of all my needs…. Kudos to R V H. 5 gold stars to your impeccable service and staff
Worst emergency unit i have ever seen. I was throwing up mass amounts of blood so decided to go to emergency. Triage was good and nurses were nice in the waiting room. After waiting SIX HOURS I finally got let into a ROOM. I kindly asked a nurse how many people were in front of me and she responded the wait shouldn't be long. So i looked through the clipboards laying on the table to see how many were in front of my name. I was then screamed at by a admin staff who was sitting right there and said i cant do that. I said oh can you help me out then I'm just wondering what the wait time is looking like and she yelled NO. And i said you cant tell me how many people are in-front of me and she said NOT RIGHT NOW. Anyways worst experience of my life got there at 5 didn’t leave until 1AM. I was internally bleeding and was put at the same urgent level as people with a sore back. I hope that admin lady continues on with her miserable life
RVH treated me incredibly from the moment I was brought in on June 12th by the incredible paramedics team. I don't visit the hospital often so I wasn't sure what to expect. RVH & it's ENTIRE staff of Dr's, Nurses, etc...etc... don't deserve the low ratings I see on here.nnI am so grateful & thankful to all the staff who looked after me, took care of me & my foot. I can't say enough about all of them. The nurses who initially looked at me & prepped me for the surgeon Dr. Perlus, anesthesiologist, everyone involved in helping me & fixing me.nnI respect, appreciate & love you all . I was never treated rudely or that I was a nuisance or an inconvenience not even for a second. Everyone is extremely polite, friendly & very accommodating. Thanks so much for everything!
