Bardenay Restaurant & Distillery - Coeur d'Alene

Here is a great example of bar, restaurant, meets log cabin in the woods. Bardenay has come a long ways since the first time I went into one in Bosie several years ago. Their lunch service is fantastic, and I've always been a fan of their bloody Mary's. You can't go wrong having lunch or brunch here. Service could have been a little better our last visit but I'm not going to dock a star because of previous visits.

Love it every time we go. Good selection of upscale bar food. And they do serve a great filet too.

Service needs some help. The drinks are good, the food is good, but you go to restaurants to be served. As of late the service at Bardenay has been slipping and my latest visit really highlighted that. My group arrived after work for drinks. There were only four other people in the place besides us. Despite that it took the waitress a long time to take our order, and even longer to deliver drinks. You can see the entire bar and you can see that no one was working on our order. We cut our evening short and left. I still like the restaurant but providing good service is what makes a place great.

Lunch with family today at Bardenay. Great atmosphere, delicious food, lovely presentation and our server Ezra (aka “Ezraguys) was awesome. He continually checked on us, cleared dishes and filled our drinks. He treated us like we were his only table, although the place was busy. Loved his magnetic personality and energy!

Great food, good drinks, reasonable price. The kobe sandwich is fantastic, as is the meatloaf sandwich. It's also one of the few sit down places we'll take our young kids since the service is so fast and kid friendly.
