I look forward to this farmers market every year. But was very disappointed when there was a no dogs sign. I’ve never been to a farmers market where dogs aren’t allowed. And I’ve been to a lot! It doesn’t make any sense to me. That said the vendors and environment are great. I just wish I could bring my 9 pound, very well trained dog, with me. Especially considering that there are vendors that sell dog items!
We had a great experience at the Kootenai County Farmers Market. There were lots of vendors that were very friendly and passionate and had great products as well. I’ve never experienced the vendor token idea, but it seems like it would work well for the vendors not accepting cards as payment.
One of the best farmers markets I have been to and I love visiting farmers markets whenever I can during my travels. A great variety of shops from art, plants, food to live music. I had my brunch here and food was fantastic. Definitely lookout for the stall selling the Hawaiian drink the one with tropical fruits and coconut milk and barbecue! A must visit if you are in the area on a Saturday morning
A most amazing experience! I've been to lots of farmers markets and this is the best by far. I'm just sorry I don't live in the area. They have lots of vendors selling pottery, wood & iron carvings, veggies, honey, wine, flowers, vinegars, baked goods, live music & crafts for kids, cooked foods & more. All this in a beautiful natural setting. Parking was congested and busy but space was available even if you had to walk a bit. Totally worth seeing.
Such a great farmers market. The array of plants, fresh veggies, sprouts, and good is outstanding. It’s always fun to people watch and support local community businesses
