Barbuti Men's Wear

Bought 2 pairs of expensive Paige pants that were to be tailored identical. One was returned 4-5” shorter than the other! When I went back, I was told that I must have shrunk the pants even though I can’t wear them. All they offered was for me to buy another pair at the current sale price. Nothing more. Very poor customer service. Will never go back. Why would I buy anything from here to have their tailor mess it up and then I have to buy another piece!

I am an avid clothing shopper and consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur of fine mens Clothing. As I usually am downtown or in the East end I found myself at the Shoppes on Don Mills to meet up with some friends for a drink. I had some time on my hand and stumbled into a store called Barbuti. From the moment I entered the store I felt like I was in A European Mens Clothier. From Gorgeous displays to impeccable service….I not only was treated to a hot expresso but the gentleman who served me was unbelievably knowledgeable regarding the fabrics and various lines they carried. Who knew you could get great Mens Clothing north of Eglinton. I strongly advise to scope out this little gem hidden in the Shoppes at Don Mills. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said…..” I’ll be back”!!!

A well-curated selection of men's wear tastefully brought to life by friendly and sharp-eyed professionals in a small, locally owned shop. Had a great experience and will undoubtedly be back again.

I bought a very nice suit here a few months back. Spent more than I would have liked to but things do tend to be more expensive these days. The reason for the negative review is I came back recently to get measurements done for a tux I need to rent for a wedding. The person could not have been less helpful. I was taken aback as I am pretty sure the person recognized me from before. The reason he gave I purposefully went monday afternoon when no customers where there was that the measurements may not translate to the tux, things like neck and coat size... I was happy with my initial purchase but this place will not be getting any repeat business for the next suit I buy. I am certainly not expecting somebody to do this for free and was willing to pay but it was obvious that the gentleman had zero interest in helping a returning customer. I would have been happy to spend thousands more here in the coming years but this interaction really left a sour taste in my mouth. Edited for your reply below Of course they were able to do it. I just spent the better part of my saturday afternoon to get it done in another city their location as opposed to a shop that I patronized recently that is walking distance to me. I came to understand that my request is a pretty common one and that many places used to do this kind of thing for free or a small fee for the goodwill and future business it can generate. It took all of 15 minutes plus the 2 hours travel time there and back to get it done. The groomsmen coming from America and England had shops near them do what I asked of you and I assume they feel no responsibility as to how the other tailor fits the tux. I hope the gentleman that took my measurements and serviced me there takes no offense. My issue here is with the other gentleman presumably you who refused this request for reasons that seem bizarre and short sighted.

The owner here is very RACIST. said a very racist stereotypical comment that's degrading towards Mexicans. Don't shop here
