Their prices are higher than other local competitors, presumably for the modest convenience of not having to drive the next town over. They don't price match. The variety is pretty limited. I only shop here when it becomes a necessity, and I never enjoy it; other reviews mentioned leaving empty handed more frequently than with items, and I can echo this statement. This store prides itself on being family owned, but this is the type of family owned business that drives you not to support them. Edit: anecdotal observation..I'm pretty sure they carry items outside of the Rona catalogue you could view online, which allows them to charge whatever their heart desires. Also, god forbid you buy something online and need this Rona to service a warranty claim. Find out for yourself, or do yourself a favour and don't.
Horrible customer service from young lady at service counter, showed her a specific item I was looking for on my phone, she looked at it then pointed to the back of the store and told me, "they're over there" then proceded to casually walk around the store instead of showing me.
I just wanted to share I recently bought a toilet at Home depot the toilet works great but unfortunately we accidentally dropped the toilet seat bolt in the toilet and somehow got lost so we heaed bac to the store we bought it from and nobody could help us out drive to Home hardware and still the same answer. Drove to Rona and I just want to thank the nice lady who helped me out I decided to get her the benefit of the doubt and tey ir out anyhow well much to my surprise it woeked. Thank you kind lady at Rona.
Just spoke with Hillary! What an amazing person with excellent customer service skills and rapport! She was extremely helpful and made the interaction most enjoyable! Love her!
Was greeted at the door by a pleasant cashier, and maybe 10 steps in was asked if I needed assistance they took me to the key cutter and cut my key both worked in the door what more can you ask for? Good service had alot of staff on for a Sunday bravo.

The item variety is pretty thin. I've always had trouble finding exactly what I needed. I've been better off going to home depot or Canadian tire.
Went to buy 5/4 deck boards and was quoted $24.98 for a 12' board. Home hardware price is $13.19 for the same 12' board and Home Depot is $13.25. This store is a complete rip off and NEVER has half the stuff you're looking for. Avoid like the plague unless you're desperate and have no other option.
Ordered a snowblower online to get it delivered to my house. Process online was very easy. It ends there though. Was called Saturday morning saying they'd be here at 11, so I went to do a grocery pickup. My wife called me saying that they came 30 minutes early. So I came home and was expected to help life a 300lb machine off the back of a pickup truck with the unmasked driver. Like what if I was injured, and couldn't help lift it off. Will never buy online here again what an awful experience.
Great location. Customer service is alright probably because most people go to home hardware or home depot and the place is always dead. I always find the prices high and it's always missing atleast one item to complete the job. I wish it was a Canadian Tire instead.
