Applebee's Grill + Bar

We went to the Rockin location for the Endless boneless wing deal. On the menu the deal is explained that your welcome to mix and match different sauces with your orders. Our server stated we can only choose one sauce and have to stick with that sauce for all our orders. When we showed her what the menu says, she still stuck with how she wanted to serve the deal, one sauce only. We chose to leave this Rocklin location and go to Citrus Heights to eat. Guess what, we are allowed to mix and match however we want with no issues.

Unfortunately, this location does not have control over balancing their dine in orders and their door dash orders so their kitchen is tremendously overburdened. While waiting to be seated about 25 minutes on a Friday evening so actually not bad several people left when told the wait time and several door dashers were waiting for orders. They really need to throttle back their door dash order allowance on busy evenings or they will continue to lose diners.

The service and food were outstanding! We hadn't been here for nearly a year because the food wasn't that good and service was better but is great now! Seems they've had changes in the kitchen, for the much better and the food is so tasty and makes me !Food: 5/5

The servers are always very nice. The food is delicious! The booths are nice. It's not too loud. The bar is nice with plenty of TV for viewing sports.Food: 5/5

I went here on January 26, 2023 to celebrate my brothers birthday and I loved it we had a really nice staff coming every once a while to check on us the food was great and good price and got are food really quickly and left a big tip and they were really grateful! 10 out of 10 definitely recommend!

I took my young kids here the other night. For a place that advertises "eating good in the neighborhood" it did not feel very welcoming. Maybe it was inexperienced staff, but sadly it was such a negative experience. The biggest issue was with the host, in which was the majority of our mediocre experience. First I'm there to grab a quick bite with my kids before bedtime. They're well behaved, but they are going kids with sorry attention spans. I asked host for a table for three and a high chair. He seats, place settings and all then goes to grab a highchair. We settle in and then he comes back and says unsympatheticly says he can't put the highchair at the end of the table and that we're going to have to move. To which he is then annoyed while I'm packing up my kids and juggling the baby. Then he doesn't have crayons for the kids menu and is rather incredulous when I inquire about them. With no other solutions. I ask if he happens to have something else that my oldest can draw with to keep her occupied. I suppose it's not expected, but it kind of surprised me when places like Pete's brew house are more kid friendly than Applebee's. Then the bar tender served us the rest of the time. He was fine, got us our food accommodated some little requests, but definitely wouldn't describe it as friendly or welcoming. The food was fine, and I hope we just hit an off night, but definitely not somewhere that caters to families. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Kid menus but no crayons. Staff seemed unhappy that I'd brought my kids.

I am not the biggest or smallest fan of Applebee’s, neither is anyone in my family. My girlfriend, mother in law and I went here before watching, “Air,” at Blue Oaks Cinema across the street. I was blown away by this place. It is what Buffalo Wild Wings tries to do. The tv’s are great, it has a full bar, the restaurant is immaculate and the staff is friendly. This is a perfect Happy Hour to sneak into before seeing a movie. Great place and I certainly will return.

I went with my family to Applebees Saturday night. I ordered a whiskey bacon burger. It took them 30 minutes to seat us even though half the tables were empty. After an hour of waiting for our ordered I had to leave without it and go to work. My family brought me the burger. About an hour after eating it. Became nauseous and had a headache. All in all, it was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. From the unacomidating staff to food that made me ill. Avoid Applebees in rocklin at all costs!

Food was dry. Sent back ribs because they were so dry. My husband didn't eat while my order, chicken burbon shrimp dinner was also dry. I ate it, the flavor was great, just dry. It was unfortunate.Food: 4/5

Surprisingly good food and great service. We hadn't been here in years and decided to try it with the kids on a whim. Glad we did. We all had a good time and it wasn't super crowded.Food: 4/5
