AmericInn Hotel & Suites Eau Claire

I was planning on staying here while I attended clinical for school, called and was quoted $65 per night for my 8 night stay, made reservation online. Called to confirm that it was noted that I would be getting $65 per night and after a long time for them even to find my reservation, was told sorry we can only do $79 per night plus tax. Informed the lady on the phone that's not what quoted, and she confirmed that it was in noted on my account about the $65, said sorry we can't do that! Needless to say I canceled my reservation and will go to another hotel that honors their quoted price. Update: After I posted this I called and complained to corporate. Since these are independent chains they forwarded my complaint to the owner/manager of this location as it would be up to them to honor the price. Within a couple of days I was left a VM asking for more information about my booking and special pricing. Before I could return the call I received an email from the manager reinstating my reservation at the special pricing. I've decided to stay their as my school recommended it and I will update you about my experience. Updating this review. Overall the experience was good. The room was clean, good parking, breakfast was eatable and staff friendly. FYI, it does not have an elevator. I would stay again.

On the way to a weekend in the Duluth,MN area in early December we stayed overnight in Eau Claire,WI. We stayed at one of our favorite hotel chains Americinn we like to have a King Suite with a Jacuzzi tub which was what we got we had a good night even with the hotel being full with a girls basketball team and there families it was fairly quiet our room was clean and the mattress on the bed was very good. It was a very nice stay overall. The only complaint I would say I have and it's more a suggestion I think the hotel needs a bit of an update on furnishings some things like carpeting and drapes looked a bit tired.

Room was decent but bought the most expensive run and couldn't get a 1 hour late checkout. I've never been denied 1 hour at any other motel in my life. Thankfully, Eau Claire has lots of other options. Won't be back to AmericInn.

This is a truly cozy and clean motel to stay in. The staff is friendly and courteous, the rooms are updated, clean and spacious, beds are comfortable and breakfast is plentiful and good. They even had complimentary fresh, hot chicken and dumpling soup one cold afternoon when I returned. My only caveat would be that if you are mobility challenged, request a first floor room as there is no elevator. If all AmericInn's are this nice and well run, I wouldn't hesitate to stay.

Our family has stayed here every December for almost 20 years. And we're talking a biiiig family, with a dozen rooms, minimum. And we love coming! The staff is helpful, courteous, accommodating, and festive. The pool and hot tub are always clean and the staff even got out pool toys for the kids to play with. They brought out coloring stuff to help keep the kids occupied and decorated the wall with their artwork. The free continental breakfast is always good. The rooms are clean, with a mini fridge and microwave. Beds are ok (not the best), but comfortable enough, considering how great the quality is of everything else. We would recommend it to anyone. (You just might want to steer clear of our loud crazy family this time every year!) 😀
