Alamo Rent A Car

Very nice location because you can walk here from the airport. Service was quite good. It was snowing when we arrived and he recommended us to change to a bigger car that could handle the weather. We didn't know which car to book because we never have to drive in snow. Checking out a car was super fast and painless experience and dropping it off was also fast and efficient.

My experience was good and mediocre. A rock hit the windshield. I thought I would have to replace the entire windshield. They said it was repairable and I didn't owe anything. It was so nice to hear that. The only complaint I had was that the rep convinced me to fill up the tank with Alamo. I didn't realize that they charged me for a full tank of gas regardless of how full or empty the tank was. So, in this case, I got ripped off as I didn't use nearly a full tank. Never again will I let the company fill it.

The people were great and the car was great but on returning the car to Calgary airport when I went to turn left to park the car I seen a sign saying "don't enter" so I stopped to back up and didn't realize but didn't realize there were spikes. If the sign wasn't there I wouldn't stop and backed up. I don,t understand why the spikes. I was told I would have to pay for 2 front tires and the toeing of the car.

Seamless minimal effort required from booking to return. Employees were friendly and total experience was very pleasing. No hassles whatsoever. Will definitely use again.

Very quick check-in and check-out. Had to extend rental for two days; no problem. Helpful, friendly customer service.
