A Taste of Saigon Restaurant

Impressed with the genuine customer service I recieved. The food was really really good and the serving size was impressive too. The biggest highlight for me was the Viet iced coffee. It was the highlight because there was more coffee than ice!!! Definitely coming back!

I’ve ordered from here for years but my soup today was very disappointing. The chicken in my soup was not edible and was red/pink in colour. There were also bugs in the vegetables and soup. I am so disgusted and will not be ordering from here again! Clearly not following food safety rules.

So glad we found this restaurant, the sate pho was soooo good! Rich and spicy!!!! The food a d drinks did take a bit longer to come out, but I'd rather wait a bit for some good food!

I have to say I was so pleasantly surprised by the authenticity, I lived in ho chi Minh and missed the crazy amount of greens they give you and this bun cha totally hit home. Also the rice paper springs rolls are the real thing, will be trying this place again before we leave Calgary. You should definitely give it a chance!

The first time we came our experience was not good at all, mostly due to the service . The head waitress man has no idea how to be pleasant and I think he is more upset when we walk in for food. So we decided to try a second time maybe he was having an off day..well the second time same waitor gave the worst experience once again Will NEVER come back ! good luck everyone

They make very good curry based pho soup. I enjoyed their hotpot rice dishes as well you can ask for less sauce if you find it too salty The honey lemon tea was good too. I dont give them 5* because the food sometimes come very late so I would recommend to preorder if you are in a rushnor have hangry kids.

It takes time to get the food here, but food is just crazy amazing. I come here all the time from the south everytime i want decent Vietnamese.

Their menu items have a nice little twist to the convention Vietnamese cuisine. One go to dish is the Spicy Tamarind Coco-Lime Chicken Noodle soup. Another recommended item is the Mix Meat and Seafood on Cambodian Glass Noodle. Recently, their newer Creamy Sate Noodle Soup really hits the spot, with a sweet and creamy broth, which balances out the heat from the sate pictured. The service takes longer than most Vietnamese restaurants, but it's worth the wait if you have the time!

Our meals were terrible. The chicken was not edible. Not even sure it was chicken. Spring rolls had some other kind of weird mystery meat inside. If you’re going to charge that kind of money for entrees, they should be made with quality and edible ingredients. So disappointing.

Really tasty! I was not disappointed. I got a dish with varied meats and it just tasted better than other similar places that served similar things. Food was nicely presented, staff was nice and chill, would definitely recommend!
