Pho Van Vietnamese Restaurant

Nice and clean. We enjoyed the all food that we ordered. For me better than Royal Oak Pho hoan.

Stopped in to check it out and review it. I had the beef pho satay which is something I have eaten a lot of in my life. It was excellent. Nice cuts of beef. Fresh tasty broth - not fatty. Clean place - looks like a ma and pa run place. Highly recommend.

They have only been open for a few weeks and we've been dying to try it out. Lots of parking available and didn't have to fight for parking like their other location. We were seated right away. We had a party of 4 adults and 2 kids. The restaurant was very clean and the decor was nice and modern. Loved the fact they catered to my daughters egg allergy. She wanted chicken wings and there is egg in the bater that they use but they were able to make it with out egg. The food came out quickly and was very good. The pho was well seasoned not overly salted like other places and had excellent flavour. The chicken wings were well cooked and the kids really enjoyed them. The service was really good. Our server was always checking up on our table and clearing our plates as needed. We really enjoyed our meal here and will be back. This is now our go to place for Vietnamese food in Royal Oak.

WORST Vietnamese I’ve EVER had. The meat in my satay beef was so chewy it was beyond inedible, my fiancés food had zero flavor, the hoisin sauce had a rotten smell to it. I will never be returning here, and I strongly recommend that people avoid this place. I don’t understand how their reviews are so good. 0/5

Great costumer service! I had Beef Pho Soup and it was really great. The amount of meats was very generous and so is the noodle. The broth was excellent, I would probably like a bit more in the bowl. It was the first time I tried shredded pork salad rolls and it wasn’t what I was expecting. The texture felt dry, but the seasoning was good. Perhaps because I’m not used to it. The BBQ Pork Salad roll was excellent, the seasoning was perfect, good spice. The peanut sauce, I personally prefere a more peanuty, creamy sauce that is not so dark and transparent like molasses. For the service and good food, I’ll still give a 5 star to this place. I’ll be back for sure.

We've been going to this restaurant for many years and have always enjoyed our meals! We've taken big groups here and the staff have always been so accommodating to us and the children we bring too!. Our absolute favourite is the Bun Bo Hue which is incredibly delicious and incomparable to other Viet restaurants in the area. This dish and the restaurant are must trys!

Got delivery with Uber eats. Portions were small, three shrimp on a $17 dollar vermicelli bowl. The vermicelli bowl broth had zero flavour, it might as well have been water with food dye. The pork on the vermicelli bowl was drier than the desert. My fiancé got the satay rare beef soup and the beef was chewy and fatty. The spring rolls were the only good thing in the order as the shrimp salad rolls weren’t even rolled correctly and didn’t contain enough shrimp for the amount of noodles in them. Very disappointed and this has made my fiancé never want to get Vietnamese ever again because of the quality.

Price has gone up significantly comparing what it was used to be. Yet, the portion of the pho is somewhat smaller with less meat and noodles.Food: 2/5

The best satay beef pho I've had, and I've tried over 30 different bowls in Calgary. Service was pleasant and the restaurant is clean and spacious. I'd definitely come back if I lived nearby!
