Pho Han

It’s been a while since we got the chance to taste authentic Vietnamese dishes. A good portion of meat and affordable pricing. Friendly staff and nice, clean space. Would recommend! Second time coming, food and services are still good. I hope that they can maintain such consistency in food and services as it has been rarely the case to most of the Vietnamese restaurants that I’ve been to.

Went to the new Pho Han Vietnamese Noodle today and loved it. Lovely decor, really fast, friendly service. Delicious, Fresh Food. We had Pho Sate Beef and the Charbroiled Pork and Spring roll Bun, with Spring rolls on the side. Everything was just perfect! Best broth I’ve had in a long time!

Pho Han is great! I've been here several times and had the Pho and Bun Bo Hue along with the spring rolls and everything tastes amazing. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a quick and cheap meal.Recommended dishesNoodle Soup, Spring Roll 1pc

A solid place for pho! I got the #1 special. The broth was not particularly salty, had a strong beefy taste that was clean and comforting, especially on a cold winter day. The beef itself was tender and not fatty. The noodles are what was expected: soft with a slight rice flavor. The price is reasonable for the portions given. Definitely will be back to try Pho Han again!

Decided to try the pho noodles here for lunch. It was very quiet considering it was the weekend, so plenty of parking was available. I got a bowl with rare beef, beef balls, and tendon. It was disappointing to find the very thinly sliced beef 98% cooked, only two tiny pieces of tendon, and one beef ball cut in half. I also randomly got a few pieces of tripe. The flavour of the broth was not bad though. Service was pretty much nonexistent after getting our food. Perhaps it's because we were seated on the other side of the restaurant, away from where the other two occupied tables were.

I stopped here for some pho to warm the bones on a cold day and enjoyed it thoroughly. This area is well served for pho but this is a welcome addition. The broth was an excellent Hanoi style broth with good depth and complexity. To me it seemed similar to Van Son's in quality, which I mean as a compliment. I finished it all which I don't always do. The greens served were fresh and of good quality, with an excellent and very juicy lime slice. The portion sizes were good as were the meat and seafood features of the pho special. Reasonably priced as well, comparable to other options nearby. I also had a vietnamese coffee which I thought was excellent and handmade as opposed to from a mix. The ambience was nice, it is spacious and clean inside. It would work well for a group gathering, especially for a work lunch or meeting. Service was attentive, fast, and friendly. While there are a bunch of good pho options 1-2 blocks south of 16th, Pho Han is quite well located and is easily walkable from mount pleasant or tuxedo park, being just next to a major crosswalk at 20th and centre and several bus stops including two 300 series routes. If you wanted to amble over to Lina's for dessert afterwards it's basically kitty corner from Pho Han. I daresay this might become a neighbourhood go to by virtue of its quality, ambience, and location. A very welcome addition to north central Calgary. Kid-friendliness: There is a kid sized noodle meal on the menu. The booths and tables are sizeable enough you could fit a bucket seat or cradle. Parking: There's a sizeable lot out back with good access from southbound centre street north at 20th Ave.

Very clean and spacious place with lots of seating. Staff is very fast and kind. Food is delicious, especially the pho. You can get small, medium or large size pho and gor a good price. They have all the traditional pho restaurant choices here.

Best Pho broth in Calgary. Portions are large and the service is outstanding. Very clean establishment and A/C is cold. Enjoy!

Came to the restaurant after school and had a chance to try out their Bun Bo Hue also Che 5 Mau. The dessert was not too sweet but if you are more of a sweet person you can ask for more sugar. After all, the dish was good and the service was great. Highly recommend!!

I came here for dinner recently. In terms of food, I tried their #1 - Pho Dac Biet. The noodles and soup were decent. There was quite a good mix of meat - Flank, Tendon, Tripe, Meatball, and Rare beef. It was quite a bit of food with the XL size and definitely worth the value.
