Delicious Taiwanese style food with authentic classics like oyster pancake and a house made Taiwanese sausage as well as new creative contemporary takes using traditional flavors like tofu and century egg on taro chips eaten like chips and salsa. The crispy chicken nuggets were very flavorful and served with a nice addition of basil and chopped garlic. The UFO beef noodle soup has a cool smoke release when they serve it and lift the lid off. The dining ambiance is also comfy and nice. Would definitely recommend this place for sit down Taiwanese foods and flavors.
Amazing food with authentic Taiwanese flavours. Can’t even begin to fully describe how great the food here is. Staff is al very nice and attentive. Will definitely be back many times in the future as the chef/owner explained that they update their menu at least 4 times a year to work with seasonal items. 10/10 would recommend.
Very authentic and tasty food. Portion size is generous too. Make sure to ask for any of the homemade sauces to enhance any of the food you are trying. Overall, I would totally recommend the chicken nuggets, garlic pea shoots, and beef noodle.
Great food, really good service! All of the dishes that came were excellent. My favourites were the deep fried tofu it was crispy like no other, the beef fried rice, the beef noodle soup, basil seafood fried noodle, and ofc the no-fail popcorn chicken. The only thing I would go without is the iced teas - I found them quite lackluster and not really worth it. I went yesterday and I’m already planning on the next time!
This is such a chic Taiwanese restaurant. I love the vibe and definitely IG worthy. The customer service is great. You get greeted instantly, the staff are friendly and attentive. There were so many things we wanted to try so looks like ill be returning in the near future! The fish dish was by far the favourite out of our group. The 3 cups chicken was nice and tender and the best part, no bones! There was a fried sampler and that was delicious as well. You cannot go wrong with fried chicken. The squid tentacles surprisingly tender. I am always impressed when seafood is not over cooked. The pea shoots were ok but a bit lacking in flavour. All in all a very good first experience. **The price you see on our portion of the bill is 50% of what the other person paid.
Tried the dine out menu, we had squid, chicken sizzling pate, and hot and sour soup. The squid is great sweet and sour flavor, opened out my appetite for more food. The sizzling plate is a little sweet, but good flavor. We also ordered the beef noodle soup, definitely one of the best beef noodle soup I’ve had. As for the hot and sour soup….. it’s one of the worst hot and sour soup I’ve ever had…. It didn’t tick any of the boxes, the soup is too watery, the color is very pale, the flavor of the soup is all wrong. Chef doused the soup with way too much white pepper, you don’t taste anything else besides the white pepper….
Pricy but delicious and authentic tasting Taiwanese food. The portion is quite generous so I don’t mind coming again. The clear broth beef noodle is very tasty. The beef brisket is so tender and falls apart easily. Very satisfying to eat on a cold rainy day. The place seems quite busy so coming early before the dinner rush is ideal.
Night out menu is great for January and February The Taiwanese food is very peppery pepper, not spicy. It was delicious and a good change to what I usually eat. They also keep the food relevant so it doesnt get boring if you visit often. I would recommend. The restaurant is very popular for good reason. We got a reservation, but even then it's still busy. Place is great for special occasions with friends or taking dates The server said the chef and owner are still working on getting desserts on the menu. That would be appreciated, cross my fingers. Dessert is the only thing missing from this flawless menu Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, everything flat
Taiwanese restaurant located near Vancouver General Hospital. Good variety of Taiwanese dishes. Friendly staff and decent service. Oyster pancake would be much better if less heavy in sauce. Children's cutlery, highchair available. Limited free parking at rear. Accepts credit, debit cards.
First time being here at dinner time, the restaurant is so clean & the waitress is very polite. They have parking space at the back and also with street parking too. We have 5 people therefore we can order more than usual, we order 3 appetizers first, the smell of the food is so good, even the chicken nuggets is big but still juicy inside, pork intestine is not much & the oyster pancake is yummy. The fried rice & the noodles is okay, the Hakka Stir Fry is hot with steam coming out, but share by 5 guys maybe not quite enough, therefore we order 3 more dishes, the sausage, the squid and the pork, everything is delicious & everyone is satisfied. Highly recommend for the one who love Taiwanese food.
