"Simple way to eat Chinese" Newly opened on Alberni St in downtown Vancouver, it's an affordable place to get custom comfort Chinese rice bowls! They aim to change their sides on a quarterly basis and the daily soup on a weekly basis. So far, I've tried: - Pork with Dragon Sauce and shredded potatoes, lotus root with peas, and bean sprouts for sides. Lotus root has a szechuan spicy kick to it, so I would caution for those that can't take too much heat! - Beef with Black Pepper Sauce and shredded potatoes, bean curd, and bean sprouts for sides. Dragon Sauce is definitely my pick for the sauce - even by itself with rice is super delicious.

As far as ultra fast Chinese food goes in this neck of the woods, Dragon Bowl is the best option. I got the beef bowl with half brown rice and half salad, with lotus root, bean sprouts and celery side dishes. You can pick up to 3 side dishes but there were only 2 non spicy options. I liked the variety offered by the side dishes and felt like I got a lot of beef. A fair price for the amount of food you get! Glad that they had a half rice half salad option. The meat was pretty tender and flavourful. The side dishes were yummy. Dragon bowl seems like a healthier version of fast Chinese food. Can’t wait to try some of their other options next time! I’ll be telling my coworkers about this place

If you on the run, need quick delicious Chinese meal in downtown after a long work or shopping, this place will be the a great option for your needs. They don’t have tons of item and it’s very simple, you could just grab and go. Why I give them a 5start? They Just opened two days ago, I support local businesses. Friendly Service. Good concept and fresh food. Recommendations for improvement is: 1. Add more of the protein, it's not like the photos, it's more like half the amount. 2. Option for additional sauce on the rice. 3. Would be great if there was a noodle option. Really good service overall and would come back.

The food tastes good but the service leaves alot of be desired. "First time?" says the man standing up front, who does not look up from his phone once during the interaction. Once I've asked for my order, he proceeds to go to the back, speaking about his wife loudly to other employees. "Have you met my wife? Blah blah". Ding! After about 5 minutes. He must be the owner. The food tastes good, but there is a big disconnect and lack of care about personal interaction and service. Disappointing to the paying customers who literally work next door.

After eating for 2 days in a row, the taste is very good! This is the best fast Chinese food I have ever eaten. It subverts my concept of slow Chinese food. I want to eat all the different flavors. I love it so muchFood: 5/5

Great experience here. I love their dragon sauce and black pepper sauce!!! Finally there is a tasty Chinese fast food in Vancouver dt. The service was great, price is fair. I have recommended this restaurant to my friends and colleagues.

I think the previous comments are friends of owners . Well, the service was great but food is so so. Protein is little, like serving for kids, nowhere near the advertised photo. Not sure if $14.5 worth it though.Food: 2/5
