Zip Fitness Bolingbrook

Friendly staff, clean facility overall nice atmosphere. I wish they had a place where i am moving but sadly have to cancel my membership. best bang for the buck! Highly recommend for beginners as it is very very rarely crowded.

This place better than LA Fitnesss. The price affordable if you don't need the sauna, racket ball room, bike station, Zumba,jacuzzi and swimming pool as a comparison.Most of them I don't use. I like this place (Zip fitness)because, as you walk in you don't have to deal with googley eyes especially from the men. while walking in entrance.and when you walk in to your treadmill station. (LA Fitnesss). (Zip fitness)The staff are nice. What I like the most compare between LA Fitnesss and Zip Fitness have more equipment that does work than broken. And you don't have to wait for someone to finish to use it. And the Women locker room is much Odor Free. The carpet are way cleaner and new. Unlike the LA Fitness in Bolingbrook,Illinois remained disgusting. I was being lured again to come back. And I asked if they changed that. And the Mgr. Says, Yes! I asked , if I can checked it out. "The verdict!? Is Nope!? " because the ODOR remains. But heyyyyy!? Don't take my word for it. Just check it for your self.

I have been using this gym for about 3 years. It's very basic, but that's all I need, and the price is right. In winter I might give it 4 stars, but it's summer right now and I just can't because the temperature is always a problem. The last time I was there, it was 79 degrees inside. It was cooler outside. I struggle with my workout in the heat, but they claim there's nothing they can do about it. I also wish they would turn off the awful music they play, but at least I have an iPod for that.

The gym is okay; there is tons of cardiovascular equipment in the facility that is not used. The amount of free weights are substantially small and the amount of space is small as well. A gym such as L.A Fitness would give you more bang for your buck for a much better gym with a basketball court, racquetball, volleyball, classes, personal training, a sauna, pool, spa, etc and a very large amount of free weights and space. Zip fitness is a gym to go to if you're the type who wants to get a quick workout in and work on aerobic exercises. Overall, I give a three out of five; sixty percent.

Don't mind the gym but their selection of freeweights is lacking. They only have one squat rack and it is almost always taken. The machine section could be cut down and replaced with more dumbbells and more squat racks. Sign up would be much higher. Looking for new gym now.
