4500 Fitness & Downers Grove Park District Recreation Center

This is a great facility with exercise equipment and classes and basketball courts, they do not have a swimming pool though. They have lots of sports programs my favorite of course is basketball. One of these days I'd like to join a team. Prices are reasonable for Downers Grove residents on par with other gyms.

4500 is staffed by a friendly and helpful team. There is plenty of equipment and the facility is clean and well-maintained. The view from 4500 overlooks the DG golf course.

Good mix of free weights and machines in bright, airy facility. Nice variety of classes offered at a range of times during the week. Open gym available for basketball, badminton. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Clean locker rooms, showers. Steam rooms. Competitive pricing.

Been few times to play badminton. It has better facilities for other activities.

Very Good Gym with all the facilities and good running track.
