Vancouver’s YWCA Hotel is definitely “Worth checking into!” It offers a warm welcome to all travellers, and is a comfortable, safe and affordable place to stay at the heart of downtown's arts and entertainment scene.

All rooms are private with your choice of private or semi-private baths to suit your needs and budget – from single rooms to quints. With the friendliest staff in the city, the modern 155 room facility has air-conditioning, mini-fridges, telephones, TVs, guest area kitchens, wireless Internet access, laundry rooms, a coffee bar in our lobby and meeting rooms!

The YWCA Hotel Vancouver is just a stroll away from Robson Street, the city's shopping and restaurant mecca. Other nearby neighbourhoods worth exploring include Historic Gastown, Chinatown and trendy Yaletown. A 15 minute walk will take you to the YWCA Health + Fitness Centre where you can enjoy state-of-the-art facilities including a UV purified pool.

Stayed here for two nights before Christmas, was excited to have a good rest after a long journey. However when I checked into the room I found out the heater system was super loud, reported to the front desk they said this is normal sound. I understand there’s nothing they could do if it’s the system’s problem but up to 65 decibels every 15 minutes is not okay for people to sleep. Also there’s no way to just turn it off. And I don’t think in this case it’s worth the price that I paid for. Tried to email the hotel twice but didn’t hear any reply for two weeks. I would happily to change my review if I have any response.
I’ve stayed at this hotel twice now, once for surgery and once for a few doctors appointments. I absolutely loved it both times. Beds are great, rooms are clean, love the hard wood flooring, they had pack and plays for the second time when I brought my baby. I really like the feature of unless you’re staying there, you cannot access the elevators to the rooms. I have gotten a room with a private bathroom both times and they were great, the staff are so sweet and the coffee in the coffee room is pretty great!!! Location is prime for the stadium across the street and it’s also only an $8 cab ride to St Paul’s hospital where I go. I highly recommend this hotel and will continue to stay here as long as I have to fly up for doctors appointments. The room rates are also very good considering it’s Vancouver, and I don’t even use a doctors discount. I give this hotel 5stars all the way around.
I booked a room with two beds and a bathroom for myself and my daughter.nnThe room was simple and had two queen beds. It was amazingly clean, as was the bathroom. There was a fridge and a microwave - no kettle but coffee was in a the lobby with a pod system.nnThe floor was either laminate or vinyl - like linoleum, but was not cold at all. It is very easy to clean with a simple mop.nnI have stayed at higher end and chain hotels which had carpet in the bedroom and it is obvious that they are only properly cleaned every year or two.nnThe staff were very pleasant and we got a reduced price because my daughter had a hospital appointment - make sure that you can prove it, if you are seeking the discount.nnMy only criticism is that the car park was very small and I go the last space. The bays are a little small too.nnGreat job, YWCA. Thank you.
This location is prime for going to the arena! The front desk staff is efficient and welcoming. The rooms were clean, elevators ran quickly. Excellent stay overall. Shower pressure great and very hot water was obtainable! Beds were perfectly firm! Thank you for being such a great hotel and for staying you feel great knowing your money is going to help women and the community.
Fantastic affordable hotel for single travellers or anyone. Stayed in a room with twin bed and it was comfy and more than enough space for one. Recent renovations are nice. It’s really one of the best locations to be as you can walk/transit almost anywhere you’d want to visit.
