Amazing hidden gem in Markham for tofu and soy milk. The products are made fresh without additives, and you can tell by the delicate texture and taste. They sell different flavours of tofu pudding, including ones with ginger syrup, grass jelly, almond, coconut, or mango pulp. They also sell 2L jugs of soy milk for $3.25 for 1 jug, or $6 for 2 jugs. They also have “on tap” different flavours of soy milk including chocolate, almond, and coconut which they sell by the cup $1.50 plain; $1.75 flavoured. We tried the almond soy milk. It was cold, refreshing, with a very subtle almond flavour. We also purchased 2 tubs of hot tofu pudding which are big! for $13, irrespective of whether you purchase hot or cold tofu. The tofu pudding comes packed to the lid and includes a lightly sweet syrup to enjoy as is. The tofu pudding was so smooth and comforting, and remained hot for hours. My in laws who we gave the second tub to said this tofu pudding is “better than T&T”. I’m looking forward to also trying it with some grass jelly and tapioca at home for a special treat. We will definitely be back as a family for more of this healthy and comforting treat!

Best soy milk and tofu pudding in Toronto! Was previously located in the old market village but now at Denison Centre. One of the busiest vendors in the mall and always a line up!

I have been meaning to check this place out and am I ever glad I did today! The lady at the front counter was so sweet. Got 2 soy drinks + 1 coconut soy and 2 of the warm soy puddings. The pudding was warm and fresh and not too sweet. Nostalgic comfort food from my childhood! Their drinks are phenomenal as well! Please pay them a visit but be prepared to stand in line- they’re a hot commodity. Don’t be discouraged either, it moves quickly.

My sister was telling me about this place Yan soy foods. She said that there is always a line of people waiting to buy this tofu desert as well as the soy drinks that are made fresh daily. It looks like an Asian version of Flan but taste less sweet . Texture was smooth and tasty.

Whenever in Markham, I must be my coconut and almond flavoured soy milk. They’re so yumm!! The tofu pudding has a perfect smooth textured and the level of sweet is perfect. Their original soy milk is a bit too sweet and would be even better if the milk was slightly thicker

post covid and on the weekend: huge lineup for soy drink and pudding this is amazing. must be very good. in fact they are pretty good and has been here for decades … here and in the old market village.

I used to go to this shop when was growing up. This used to be in market village. Since they’ve shut down there, they moved to Dennison center. I love the chocolate soy milk it’s so good. It taste just as it did in the past. The coconut and almond soy are also good. They’re very subtle. It’s about $1.90 per cup. A better deal would be to get the 2L jugs of soy milk. They’re 2 for $7 and they have it for most of the flavours except for chocolate. I think chocolate doesn’t cannot last that long. They also had the tofu pudding. This is so good! You can tell it’s home made. It taste similarly to the soy milk they make! It’s very soft and they fill it to the brim. The sweetness level is also good! It’s not too sweet! You can get it hot or cold.

I love Tofu Fa aka soybean pudding and Yan's Soy Foods makes the best I've ever had, if there's someplace else, I haven't found it. Super silky smooth with the right amount of sweetness, generous overflowing portions, reasonable prices $7.25/$14 as of my review date, but expect a lineup depending on the time. It may look like a hole in the wall, but it's those kinda places that make the best stuff.

Yan’s defines the PERFECT Authentic Tofu Dessert! If you’re looking for the best, this is the place you have to go! Their fresh soy milk is also one of my favourites. It’s not thick, but it has the full taste with less sugar so you don’t feel as bloated. It won’t last as long as your typical grocery store bottles, but this is a fresh thing, no preservatives.
