La Diperie opened up several months ago in Downtown Markham, in a space shared by South Street Burger. Montreal-based La Diperie has been in the ice cream and desserts business since 2014 and is best known for their soft serve ice cream dipped in saucy glazes and covered with toppings. They also sell mini donuts, cake slices including Cheesecake Factory cheesecake slices, sundaes, hard scoop ice cream, and milkshakes.  The staff were friendly and helpful. They patiently answered the questions of my family members. We ordered the Coffee Crisp milkshake which was thick and rich, with a noticeable chocolate and coffee flavour. It was slightly sweet for my palate. My family enjoyed Cheesecake Factory mango cheesecake slices dipped in milk chocolate and pistachio glazes respectively.  Prices are steeper than say Dairy Queen but the products offered here are on a premium level. There was less impact on my wallet given we were able to use coupons we received in the mail. Definitely a great place to grab dessert in Downtown Markham!

Heard about this place from some of my influencer friends on Instagram & gave them a try since I was in the area. I bought 6 of their regular donuts. Looks great but as soon as I took my first bite, I was hugely disappointed. These should not be called donuts. The dough was dense & dry... was like eating dry bread... no no no thank you. Won't be going back.

My daughter and I were excited to try this place; however, it was a disappointing experience. My daughter got the single scoop cookie dough + nerds on ice cream $5-6?! it was so small and hollow inside…  it tasted like mint too… soft serve needed more Oreo. Pretty stingy & no napkin for one of the cone.

Whenever I’m in downtown Markham I HAVE to stop by La Diperie for a soft serve. It’s so yummy! Ice cream actually tastes like cream and the chocolate actually tastes like chocolate. Top it off with chopped almonds and you are literally in heaven. So good - now I’m craving another one!

I'm so happy they came to Markham! There are so many options and flavours, and the staff is very nice. The manager Vincent is also very kind!

Super slow service... We placed an order for 4 ice creams and it took more than 20 minutes to be fully served. They served people who came after we did and they had to go back to the freezer for each flavour. Very poor experience. Not coming back!!!!!

We went here at 10 pm Friday night and it was a terrible experience. We ordered mini donuts and it took 30+ minutes and that was only because we had to ask them twice what was taking so long. There was only one worker making our donuts while the others didn’t seem like they were doing anything. The donuts came in the bag and they were putting them in the microwave. It wasn’t even busy.

Got the cheesecake and le rocher - both were really yummy!!! Loved that the donuts were so tiny. Interesting location with it being with South St Burger, but burgers & ice cream are a pretty good combo if you ask me : Staff was also really nice and welcoming

So many great selections and desserts are always freshly made. Thank you so much for bringing this chain to Markham!

The service was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Told us about the different selections. Great location with lots a seating outside.
