The moment I walked into this shop I knew I am in for a treat for authentic styled HK milk tea and snacks! Their decor is an absolute reminder of the delicious foods in HK and their milk tea and egg waffle are definitely my top picks! The milk tea is really rich and flavourful and SUPER smooth, bottled in a very nostalgic glass bottle that I loved! I kept all their bottle for a delicious Milk tea experience at home too! 2022 March 3 Located inside Langham plaza, you'll find this tea shop amongst other restaurants and tea shops. Competition is fierce here. Interior's nicely decorated. This shops specialty is the Hong Kong style milk tea. There's bubble waffles and other desserts as well, however can't comment on it. The milk tea is comes in their signature glass bottle. A thick glass bottle which can be reused. The milk tea was a bit sweet not sure if they have less sugar options as it was never asked. A bit pricier than other milk tea shops. They should offer a cheaper option for a paper cup or refill of their bottles. Milk tea was ok. A bit too sweet.
Tried the HK milk tea and egg waffle combo which tasted really good and authentic. Milk tea was well balanced between tea and evaporated milk. The egg waffle also had a great fragrant flavour and had the right soft but slightly chewy texture. Only issue was that it all crumbled apart in the bag which is not how it should be. It probably could've used some time to cool before being put in the bag.
Very fast service BUT the drinks are very bad. The slush wasn’t made with mango & watery taste. The bubbles didn’t have sugar and undercooked . The slices of mangoes at the bottom are sour. I cannot believe a small size is $8+. I wouldn’t order again even if it’s $2. Sorry.
I have been a royal customer of Cuppa Tee Markham location mainly for 2 years or maybe longer. I have loved its particular taste and its quality is consistent. I don't like their bubble tea but liked their Hong Kong Milk Tea a lot. like 2 months ago, The Milk Tea I ordered became thick a bit at the bottom in the fridge partially looked like sesame paste or something. That's fine. They clearly state like for the best taste, please consume within 12 hours. I have no right to make a complaint. It is fine even though I had never seen that sorta thing before. Well... Last week I picked up my drink around 4 P.M. My milk tea was stored in the fridge and outside but in about 4 hours, small bubbles and foam. I thought it should be fine. I tasted it and felt like something wrong with the drink already. I went to the store back to get another one or credit or whatever. I thought that I would get a new one because he knows me unless he does not remember his regular customers at all. He said that he served a lot and nothing wrong with them on that day and just repeated like.. what's wrong? what's wrong? in a very unpleasant tone. I worked in the restaurant industry for many years and it can be wrong quite often by mistake or the other factors. It does not cost a lot to replace if possible. To be honest, this store, its milk tea taste is unique but pricey. For Bubble tea ones, almost no tea taste and tastes like some water. Milk Tea - 5 Stars, Customer Service - 1 Star, Bubble Tea - 1 Star.
Ordered through an APP with 30% off, one Whole Kiwi Iced Tea and one Spicy curry fishball instant noodles. Why they have to use this much food coloring for the drink? Very little amount of kiwi was given, the noodle barely had any flavor and minimal sauces which I couldn't even see until I was half way done my noodles, and there's only 3 fishballs?! No wonder they're not busy while the restaurant next door had at least 10 people lined up outside, even with the 30% discount, their profit margin is still pretty steep.
Love this place! They finally have my fav egg and milk pudding ! It’s more milk than egg than the traditional ones, but they added taro and tapioca on it for a great twist! Avoid fish balls or beef balls here - portion is small. Follow me for more food adventures on Instagram at @maggielicious.to
Have been waiting to try this place for awhile and finally had the opportunity. The decor is really something different. It suits the casual atmosphere alongside the casual fare of the food and drinks. The drinks here, even though they do have the regular style drink, they are strongly HK influenced, but with a few really unique drinks. I had the Ferrero ro shake with the chewy purple rice base. The purple rice was nice. Could taste every grain that came through the straw. I was able to taste the hazelnut from the Ferrero....powder?? Not sure... but I wish it had a stronger flavour. For me, pricing seemed adequate when you compare to other tea shops. The everyday drinks you can get at other hk style cafes does get pricey here, but when you get the bubble teas and more specialized drinks, it does seem reasonable. Good job... I do want to come back and try the hk style waffles here. So hoping to make it back here again!!
The pineapple bun with butter is amazing. The top of the bun is so crispy and the butter melts when u bite with the bun. The pork chop bun is great too. The HK style milk tea and coffee milk tea are the best in town.
Tried the three amigos milk tea - comes with tapioca, grass jelly and tofu pudding
