My husband and I had a lovely lunch today- Not only was the food wonderful but the service was exceptional. We ordered our meal and then realize we made a mistake on our order. The gentleman who served us was so obliging and corrected it for us. We had a combo meal of chicken and beef and then finished it off with lovely date cake which we took home to have with some ice cream. We highly recommend

Ambiance: It's very brightly lit and was easily spotted in the lot. There were large wedding type vase centerpiece on the tables. I wonder if they host smaller private event?... The booths were large and comfortable. Definitely worth checking out. Food: like other location, there is a large selection of different cuisine The Samosas were made fresh and served with a spicy chutney sauce. Everything we tried was delicious and flavorful. The portions were also large especially the Mandi! Service: Beyond the subpar customer service. She knew the menu very well and was able to suggest options. She even went beyond to make us tea just the way we like it. Great customer service!

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty amazing, some classics and some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. Celebrated our loved one birthday with the gift of great lamb chops in town. So excited to leave this review as Harpreet provided us with a better dine in experience, also thank you very much Harpreet for such a great way of wishing birthday. Appreciate it.

Food was good , visited first time and staff were polite . We explored this cuisine for first time and were amazed how close the taste is to Afghan cuisine in taste . Chicken was fresh . We ordered a chicken bowl , one chicken mandi and French fries . Vegetarian options: Some veg options here available

Food tastes fantastic only wish it was freshly made. It seems like they make the lamb and keep it in some kind of oven, you can tell looking at the meat. Honestly it tastes really good the lamb with rice and chicken Adani kabab. Only was a little disappointed with look of it. Will definitely try another time to see if it’s different. The traditional tea was fantastic, and the staff are very friendly and attentive.

We always enjoyed and loved coming to Xawaash Restaurant located Rexdale and Hwy 27 area. However, since they opened Xawaash Mississauga ..... I tend to go there for more because it is closer to my work. My favourite dish is CHICKEN MANDI with Pasta or Rice. We are very pleased with the staff there specially Ms. Pardeep Sandhu is super nice and welcoming. The food is affordable, delicious, fresh, hot and they give big portions for one person. We noticed that Xawaash Mississauga hosts private functions for small groups upto 70 guests. Perfect for birthdays, Wedding/Baby Showers, Welcoming Parties or even luncheon for Community meetings. Insha Allah, I would like to reserve for Iftar Party during Ramadan.

Got the set meal for a group of four and it was a decent amount of food. Got to try a variety of grilled meats, along with rice, salad and flatbread. The food was delicious and the hummus was my favourite. You order and pay at the counter and they bring the food out to you. The restaurant also doubles as an event space there were centerpieces and lighting rugs up when we were there

I was at the Entertainment Centrum after having watched a movie and wanted something to eat. We decided to try Xawaash and were not disappointed! I ordered a Chicken Mandi with Jewelled Rice and paid extra for a side salad. Our entire meal was delicious; the portion size of the chicken was massive! The Mandi chicken itself was flavourful and fresh. Also, the rice was topped with raisins and perfectly complemented the chicken. Lastly, the salad was incredibly tasty and is worth paying extra for. I wasn’t expecting such great food and service and will definitely be coming back here with family!

We are truly blessed to live in such a diverse and multi-cultural city. And with it, we have the options to step out of our house to sample foods from all over the world. It will be "Somalian" food for me today. I came across Xawaash as I was heading to this area to see how the new LRT construction is doing as it will affect condo / property prices along this route. I ordered the Chicken Adana platter with rice , qty#1 Chicken samosa, and their famous date cake. The order came out to just under $22.00 because I had a special 25% discount on the platter -$3.00. The online ordering is quick and simple. You get a confirmation of your order along with a ETA for pick up. The location is clean and modern. The service was friendly and courteous. Everything was packaged very well. The platter portions are generous. First off, I have to admit that the chicken samosa is the best tasting samosa I have ever had. And believe me, I have eaten plenty in my lifetime including a trip to Mumbai. So this was an unexpected surprise. The chicken adana itself is packed with flavour. The cumin, coriander and oregano bursts into your mouth. Was there sumac in there too? I tasted a subtle hint of sour/tart in the meat. For this dish, I will say no to the sauce the next time around. The dish does not need it because it is already tender and the sauce only masks the flavour of the spices and it softens the texture. But to each their own right? The date cake with that caramel sauce is a winner !!! Wow was it ever good. A nice velvety date cake with caramel/toffee drizzled on top.....wow...heaven on earth. This is a clear triple right down the line folks !!! I will be back to try their other dishes later on. A++ experience all the way. Quantity used to be good and chicken used to be properly cooked, not anymore. I have been a regular customer but from last two times their salad for which they charge $3+ was given to me in small and thin container. Chicken mandi was undercooked both times although i ask for well done. Samosas are not the same anymore either.
