Istanbul Doner House

Small dining area, but very courteous and friendly staff. The food was freshly cooked and served hot in decent crockery and cutlery. The portions are large. Ordered a mixed platter for two that four could have easily shared. The Pide tasted very good. It's slightly pricey but conveniently located and good food.Food: 5/5

OH MY GOD!!! This food is out of this world. The pilaf rice the red rice with tomato is so delicious. The kebab is PERFECT! The kebab has enough spices inside that it gives good flavour, but it isn’t over-flavoured or burned like Afghan/Arab/Pakistani kebab. The greek salad is delicious with a nice sauce and flavour flavourful beets. And the döner meat is truly out of this WORLD, so soft and melt in your mouth texture. The BREAD is super flavourful and soft, something I have never ate before. I would 10/10 recommend! This food is very similar to Persian/Iranian food but this has more flavours any Persian people here pleasure forgive me, but I have to admit that their food is better than ours. Also some people are complaining that the Turkish coffee is “too strong” and like “espresso”… yeah! That’s how it’s supposed to be. Turkish coffee is strong and that is the normal taste, they cannot call it espresso because it is not espresso and that would be misleading, so they must call it coffee .

Our experience here was nothing short of incredible... Food was super tasty and quantity was good enough.. Our server was very friendly, she served in a timely manner, she also brought Turkish tea which is the best way to end your Brunch. Prices are fair when I think about the taste, freshness, and the service all together... #SupportLocal

The food was very tasty and delicious, hot, fresh and flavorful. Atmosphere was nice, nothing out of the ordinary, fairly clean and organized. Unfortunately the service was very forgetful with several different things, enough plates and silverware, water, had to go up to the counter and ask because they kept forgetting. I also ordered the Turkish coffee, very fancy presentation but small and strong like an espresso and a thick layer of coffee grinds at the bottom which I was told is normal and traditional, its very different. Other than the service being very forgetful, it was friendly and huge portion of food with the beef and chicken combination plater which comes with rice, salad and delicious hot and fresh pitas. Might be better for take out to avoid the lacking service because the food was perfect.

I had the pleasure to enjoy a feast at Istanbul Doner House where we tried at least 4 different plates. This place serves the most delicious food I’ve had in ages. From the soup to the dessert, everything is fresh, tasty and authentic. Their service is amazing. Keep up the good work guys. 5/5.

I wish there was option to give more than 5 star. The food and service was amazing. After long I found turkish food that is not only good but the freshness, quality and quantity everything was like 100%%% perfect. I ordered the platter for 2 people but the quantity was so much for 2 people. The Doner was the highlight for me, such delicious meat. The Kebabs are also very juicy. The chicken wings were bbq, but extremely tasty.The pita was super fresh and dips were really tasty as well. The presentation of food was unique, felt like I was in Istanbul. The staff working is so nice and sweet. They served us with a big smile and were welcoming everyone. Dessert was too good and fresh. Its definitely a favorite spot for me now. Would recommend everyone to go and try the food. Every dollar spend is worth it.

Hidden turkish gem! The food was well portioned, such that the doner plate size is large enough for 2 people. The taste was fresh with good quality meat. Presentation was very impressive. Staff was generous with sauces and dealt with great customer service. Check the pics!

This place serves some of the best quality Turkish food in the GTA. This is a small location in a low-key strip mall, but their meats are grilled to perfection. Like other Turkish places, this place also has star dishes that deliver flavour with a punch. The stars here are the chicken wings, lamb chops, Iskender, and the chicken Doner. The seating is not the best and it fills up fast, even on weekdays. But the service is excellent. All the servers are nice and talk to you with a huge smile. They also give you a complimentary salad that's delicious!

This is hands down the best Doner Kebabs I have ever eaten. I encourage others to come and try this place and you won’t be disappointed. The dining was casual , very reasonable prices, friendly service and super delicious food. Over all 10/10 experience

Food was delicious! Served hot and the meat was very tender. We got the mixed plate for 2 and that was more than enough food for 2! Would definitely try again!
