WOW Patisserie

Came to visit after reading so many reviews praising this bakery. Sad to say, I disagree with the majority of the reviews here. Got four small cakes to try: pistachio mousse, ornament raspberry mousse, pear almond pastry, and chocolate raspberry pastry. Pistachio mousse was the better one out of the four. It had a decent pistachio flavour. Smooth texture and decent nutty flavour. Ornament raspberry mousse was so gummy. It's as if it had too much gelatin that made it have an almost rubbery texture. The flavour of the raspberry wasn't prominent either and tasted more like a commercial raspberry flavouring. Pear almond pastry did not have any pear flavour. Did not have a good almond taste either. more like those synthetic almond flavorings that have an odd taste. The cake sponge itself was a bit dry. Chocolate raspberry pastry barely had any raspberry flavour. You could taste it if you really try to find it. The chocolate mousse did not taste like a good quality chocolate either. Mousse was also a bit too rubbery. Chocolate cake sponge was not flavourful either. And the cake sponge that was used with the pistachio and ornament raspberry mousse was really dry and almost grainy in texture, which was very off-putting if trying to pair it with a good mousse or with any mousse in this case. Based on other reviews, it appears that custom cake orders are better. Unfortunately will not be coming back for any purchase based on my experience.

Amazing cake and amazing service. Sarah put my daughter's cake beautifully together. We ordered a mango cake and we loved how well the mango and cream goes together. We also ordered a smash cake for my daughter. I loved that she has option of making the cake less sweet. We ordered a vanilla and the cake still turned out very moist. Thank you !

WOW Patisserie did an amazing job on my sister's bridal shower cake. Not only did it look beautiful, but it tasted amazing. I had so many guest compliment on the taste of the cake. Thank you so much WOW Patisserie!!

I really wanted to like this bakery, but I cannot express how disappointed I am after ordering a large Ferero Rocher cake from here for my husband's birthday. First of all, customer service was lacking. The owner refused to write a birthday message on the cake by lying and saying there was "no space". A simple review of the photo shows there was clearly enough space. When I got to the bakery and asked for my cake that I pre-ordered, I was given a cake from the display. I hoped that it was fresh, but after tasting it, it was clearly stale. I was incredibly embarrassed in front of my guests. There was nothing distinctly Ferrero Rocher about this cake. The filling was simple, below average with a slight hazelnut taste. The filling of the Ferrero Rocher Deluxe cake is the same, so don't expect any better for that cake - it's just the top that's different. I don't know if it was the amateur baking or the staleness of the cake that made the outer layer separate from the inside of the cake. This was a terrible cake. I would highly recommend avoiding this bakery. I will be going back to my usual bakeries La Rocca and Ruelo. It is shocking that the owner charges what she charges for a terrible cake that is not as good as a Walmart cake. The only thing good about this bakery is its excellent marketing that lures customers like me to purchase terrible cakes from here. It will not happen again.

I had ordered a birthday cake for my daughter's birthday back in October from this shop. I just didn't want a cake that looked pretty from outside but tasted delicious as well. The cake turned out fantastic! This is the best nutella flavour cake I have had. Thanks Sara for always answering my questions. Will definitely get another cake from you.

My mom and I went to this place to purchase a cake for Mother’s Day. But, we ended up purchasing two. It was the best decision! The whole family enjoyed it, especially the pistachio cake. It taste amazing. We would definitely come back here again.

The name says it all. Wow Patisserie, is THE place to go for custom made cakes. The cakes are delicious, and with regards to creativity, there are no boundaries. Whatever you have in your mind, they can make it for you. We celebrated my mom's 95th birthday a couple of days ago and we asked for the number "95" and this is what we got. Beyond impressive!! We also had a smaller mango cake made for my mom's pre-birthday celebration, and it was phenomenal. This is the second time we have used Wow, and it won't be the last! Sara is the consummate professional. Her attention to detail is impeccable. She is friendly, always has great suggestions, and constantly strives for the highest quality. Highly recommend Wow Patisserie.

I had high expectations after reading the reviews on this place but very disappointed by the Napoleon cake. It looked good from the outside but inside is completely soggy instead of flaky like any normal Napoleon should be. I phoned to reflect my disappointment but the store says it is due to the moisture of the custard. While that maybe true, but if the pastry was made well enough, it could resist the moisture long enough. However, the store says their cakes were made fresh the night before and the Napoleon is one of their most popular item.

I ordered a 21 Number Cake and it was amazing! Everyone loved it and it tasted so good, love the vanilla flavour! So light and not sweet. It was beautifully decorated and the owner was so kind and easy to communicate with! Definitely ordering cakes from here again.
