Very nice people working there. Toppings for burgers was great, a good amount to balance flavors. Fries were good, onion rings were too doughy and some parts not cooked through. My burger was a bit dry and overcooked. Poutine was good, not enough cheese curds and the gravy was a bit spicy for my daughter. Overall a good experience and would return.
Wood-grilled, freshly-made burger patties!! It was the best burger I've tasted in the GTA! Lots of topping options. Great value. Friendly, helpful staff. Quick service. Seating options inside and on the patio. Lots of free parking spots. Highly recommended!
Large menu of burgers, sandwiches, fries. As soon as you walk inside, the smell of burning wood is noticeable. Went for the Woody wood burger and sweet potato fries. Fries were abundant, crispy and moist, wish other places could have sweet potato fries cooked as well as these. Burger was flavorful, crispy bacon added a nice saltiness to the burger. Bread was a little too thick for my preferences, potato type buns would have been a perfect match. Came home smelling like smoke & meat, time to take a shower
We have tried the “Woody wood burger” which should be the signature of the restaurant. They mentioned that the meat is halal but the bacon is not halal so we requested the sandwich without bacon to be all halal. In general the smell and the way they presented the food is good, but when you taste you find no salt almost at all, even the cucumber pickle is not salty so it has no much flavors inside the sandwich, despite that it was full of mushroom pieces. The place was very cozy and the decors were good so I took photos for the place instead of the food, specially that they are cooking all in front of you behind the glass, so you see the whole process and how clean the place are. In general we enjoyed the food and the place, may be in the future we ask for extra salt and May be some fried onion which looked good but we didn’t tried yet.
We had the best burger here! You could tell their meat is from a good vendor, it was fresh and delicious. Besides all that their attention to detail was awesome. Like most burger joints just make the patty without any special treatment and toss it on a bread. Here they had carefully created their patty with spices and made it super nicely. A wonderful place, highly recommended! Kid-friendliness: They have kiddy sizes for burgers.
Nice ambiance, cool menu options, decently flavourful, Burger patty was a little dry, but ultimately hit the spot. Fries felt a bit old, they were also a bit dry in texture, and I think they could have been more generous with the portion size of the fries, especially the curly fries which were 5.99 on their own and only the size of a small frie. I enjoyed having a cold beer with my meal. This place is more of a 3.5 from my experience but I’m sure it could be a 4 on a good day or at an earlier time in the day. I would return!
This is the best premium burger restaurant in Richmond Hill. It is conveniently located on Yonge, just south of 16th and has a great ambiance and extensive burger menu. I noticed it has a patio as well, which I'll have to visit in the summer time. Immediately while walking in I noticed the authentic wood burning smell from their grill. The lighting and set up are great for a quick bite or date. I ordered online and showed up early, but was lucky my food was ready. The young lady behing the counter was great. We ordered the spicy Spanish chicken and woody burger. They were large, well packages and definitely worth the price $12.99. I love that their menu variety includes mushroom, chicken, beef, lamb and bison burgers. I would definitely recommend this place! Vegetarian options: They have a mushroom burger.
Wood grilled burgers! I drove by here many times, always at the wrong time between jobs or just too many jobsites in a day. New years eve, had a light early day was in the neighbourhood and said yes today is the day. I was not disappointed, fire wood stacked at the front door, huge selection never frozen meat burgers, and some veggie options, grilled right over a fire and gets an incredible light smokey flavour from the still juicy patty. I will have to stop again for a burger and a beer on the patio when the weather is nicer. Help this hard working owner out and get in there for a great burger!
Great service, awesome burgers! If you want just an average burger you can get one anywhere but if you want to taste what hamburgers are meant to taste like then this is your place. Large variety including sides. Eat in, sit outside on patio or order out but just order!
We went to this place for the first time, followed all the good reviews here. And to our satisfaction, the burgers were really good, fresh, tasty and falvorful. The place is not so huge but overall clean and organized. This is a family business where the owners take care of everything and we could see that they focus a lot on the quality of the foods which we were happy about rather than chitchating with the customers. Overall very happy we tried the place and definitely recommended. Vegetarian options: They do have Vegie burger. Parking: Small plaza so not a lot of parking but we did not have any difficulties getting a spot.
