Love the double baked cheese tart. It is one of the desserts I get every time. Very d...
I love exploring bakeries and this one was without a doubt a marvelous find! When you enter the shop, you can see the staff preparing the bread and desserts in real time. Their Croissant was buttery and perfectly flakey, their pecan tart were a balanced sweetness. This bakery sells their day old bread at a discount as well as freshly made breadcrumbs, both great ways of saying a little money and helping to stop food waste! I look forward to visiting again and trying their delicious looking foccocia.
Went to this place on the weekend. Got some parking space at the condo area. I got an Apple Chausson, the puff pastry is crispy and the crust is full of texture, sweetness is right at the point, excellent tea time snack! Bought a sesame sourdough loaf, it was moist and soft, taste perfect whether toasted or not. I enjoy having them plain!
Delicious French pastries and excellent espresso. Parking is behind the apartment complex. Ask the owner for a parking pass. The pain au chocolat was a home run and we also enjoyed the different fruit varieties of danishes. We enjoyed the cherry and blueberry. All in all this is one of the best bakeries around here.
Amazingly fresh bread and pastries. We got the almond croissant, pain au chocolate, and a chicken pot pie pictured. Pain au chocolate was better than any that I've ever had. The owner brought out a warm chicken pot pie for us and it had the best crispy, buttery pastry with delicious creamy filling. They also have ice creamed honey and some other goodies that seemed pretty interesting. Would definitely go again.
Had to come and try a few of their items based on reviews. Tried their almond croissant, apple fritter, and loaf of plain sourdough bread. Almond croissant was burnt. Not easy to tell with the white powdered sugar on top but it was. The almond filling was ordinary in that it tastes like the lower-end quality of almond flavour/paste. It doesn't have a good pleasant, nutty, robust almond flavour, but an almost sharp unpleasant flavouring. Apple fritter tasted really oily. It tasted as if it was either fried with bad/old oil or as if the pastry was a day or two old because the oiliness left on the pastry was no good. Very disappointed in this pastry because it was an item one of the owners/bakers highly recommended. The plain sourdough bread tasted quite sour. I know sourdough breads normally taste more sour relative to other bread but this was really a bit too sour. It was as if the bread was made with an immature sourdough starter and/or other factors that play into making a good sourdough bread. Otherwise, it had a crisp, almost dense outer layer that is soft on the inside. The shop is very cute. There's a small area in the shop by the entrance from yonge st where you can sit looking out the window with the view of yonge st. And more seating areas on the other entrance of the shop coming from the building where there are plants surrounding the seating area. You can also directly see what they bake and make as the workstation is visible from the purchasing counter. They also had items like shepherd's pie, pizza dough, jams, and pickled items. Small shop that carried lots of varied items. Parking was very tricky. Since the shop is located within a condo building on a big main street, we didn't really know where to park. Since we were only going for take out, we parked on yongehurst rd temporarily. There were a few other cars parked by this road as well. I would not recommend parking here if you're planning to dine in. You could potentially park on the other side of yonge st where there's a large parking space for the plazas then walk over.
The almond chocolate croissant was superb, there Double Espresso also hit the spot. The breads looked pretty awesome as well. There is parking out back, just make sure you get validation from the cafe.
So surprised to find such a good bakery in Richmond Hill. Croissants are fresh and crunchy - even though I got them late in the afernoon. Very reasonable price! Got a basic coffee and that was very good as well. Thank you for a nice threat for my Saturday afternoon - definitely will come back.
I was excited about this neighbourhood bakery. So I picked up a whole wheat loaf and chocolate croissant. The croissant was fine. The whole wheat loaf was disappointing. It was way too airy and full of holes see photo enclosed. Not to mention it is $6 for a small and very light loaf. I don't mind paying more for a good artisan loaf from local business but the loaf was not worth it. Maybe their sourdough is better? Just a note parking may be an issue especially in the weekend since it is limited
I was lucky to learn about this cozy bakery. Everything is fresh and I love the smell. I will come back anytime I am in the area and strongly recommend it. Local business with high standards!
Ordered a variety of baked goods and was rather disappointed. Bagels were burnt, cinnamon bun was below par however the jelly donut was fantastic. This place was highly recommended to me. I doubt I’ll go back
