I have visited The Wishing Tree Play Cafe multiple times over the past year. I’ve been impressed every time. It’s relaxing because my kids get their energy out in a safe way. The Wishing Tree is also very clean! The toys are clean as well as the common areas like the bathrooms and dining area. I really can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is. The food tastes good, too!

About a month ago, I was at Wishing Tree with my son (10 months) and daughter (almost 3 years.) They played for about an hour and a half, and we went to have a snack before we went home. My son choked on an apple and wasn’t able to get any air. My friend got the attention of employees. My son was turning purple, and I’ll never forget that. I was trying to do the Heimlich as best as I remembered, but it wasn’t working. Two Wishing Tree staff members arrived very quickly. One performed the Heimlich on my son and dislodged the apple so he could get some air. He was still choking and couldn’t be placed upright. The employee who performed the Heimlich (Cindy! If you’re at Wishing Tree, look for Cindy. She saved my son.) kept him in the inverted position while someone called an ambulance. This whole time, another employee (Jennie, I think) was with me, talking me through this time of panic. I was incredibly scared (and I’m sure they were too,) but the staff helped with so much. Thank you Cindy and Jennie!

When the ambulance arrived, the staff helped me get organized and ready to go to the hospital. Additionally, a woman watched my daughter in the next room while all of this was going on so she didn’t have to see any of it. And, Wishing Tree sent a meal home with my friend for my daughter that day- just to make things easier. Wishing Tree followed up with me through phone calls and emails to make sure everything was okay with my son.

I keep thinking about how glad I am that I was at the Wishing Tree when this happened instead of being home by myself. (A reminder for all who work and stay home with kids to get trained in the Heimlich and CPR!) Thank you, Wishing Tree, for your quick, calm, and professional response to what could have been a disastrous situation.

This place is really amazing for young kids! We brought our 3 yr old son the other day and he had such a blast! He loved how everything was his size, including the toddler sized potties in the bathroom. It is really hard to find a place the holds his attention for extended periods of time. But he didn't want to leave at all.

Visiting wishing tree is like receiving a hug from an old childhood friend. Toys are clean and engaging. Food is delicious. Best crepes I've had since france. What keeps me coming back is the staff. They give my toddler complimentary crackers when she CAN'T WAIT! One staff lady even held and rocked my fussy newborn so i could enjoy my salad with two hands without dropping lettuce on my babies head. Love this place!

Food is better than what what I expected, but for the price it needs improvement. Great concept to be able to take your kids there to play and grab a bite while you're at it. My kids would rate it a five based on the play area. I would rate it a three based on food. Hence...4 starts.

Such a fun safe place for my child to play. The staff is so nice & there are fun toys & play set to play with. The food is really good & the chia is perfect. I really cannot get enough of watching my child have fun with other kids in a save & enjoyable environment.
