Ramsey County Library - Roseville

My kids (4, 2, and 1) also love it. There's a kitchen with food, dinosaurs, various puppets (people and creatures), puzzles, cars, busy boards, light wall, and developmental games, among other toys/resources. They have a wonderful selection of kids' fiction and non-fiction books, along with a big selection of DVDs. My go-to when we need to kill a few hours on a rainy or cold day. My favorite aspects of the library include an attached coffee shop and special parking for families/carpools/energy efficient cars right with the handicap parking. It's the only library I've found so far with this parking perk and as a mom who frequents libraries (1x/wk) with three tots in tow, I love the Roseeville library all the more for it.

This is kid heaven. It is a fun and awesome learning environment for all ages. I love the hand puppets.

Not a great place for group studying. They do not have enforced study room times. My friend and I came here to work on a project on a Wednesday, half an hour after they opened and could not get a study room even after being there for 8 hours. A lot of the rooms were taken up by individuals there way longer than the "Suggested 4 hour period"

Absolutley beautiful place, great for family! Awesome selection of books with diverse characters! (Yay!) good, quite places to study

Had a very bad experience at this library today my 13 year old daughter and I went into the “teen” section to check out their comic section . Young men were loudly swearing and using the “n” word . The librarian approached them but they just laughed and blew him off and continued with their bad behavior . I approached them and told them they were being rude and disrespectful to the rest of the patrons. When I talked to the manager of the library she tried to down play the matter saying they had a “special meeting “ to handle such matters and maybe my daughter would be more comfortable in the tween section ?! I said I’m not sure why I said anything, nothing will be done. The supervisor said well we will see about that. The kids were still there when we left, this is reverse discrimination !!
