8th NEW CAR from Dan. Stellar service from our sales rep Dan all the way up to Wally the GM with the great sense of humor. Working with and dealing with Anand was a pleasure he did everything in his power to suit my needs and make me feel satisfied. In the beginning, I was not intended to write a review. After I gave a one star in Google, the manager called me and challenged me why. The attitude was arrogant and not appeared to be sincere or helpful. As such, I revisited my review and add my experience below:nnMy experience started 3 years ago in 2021 when I leased a car with Kia. I was told by the salesman Dan that I could get an oil change for free and at the end, I was charged for that. Luckily I have text messages to back me up but it already showed that they were dishonest in doing business.nnLast week, I went to Kia to check for the lease status and explore the chance to change for a new car. Again, Dan served me and showed me the options. Yet, the information was misleading and Dan did not care to explain the status of my existing lease and how the new lease is calculated. Dan never attempted to explain the proposal to me, but simply wrote down the monthly instalment to me on a piece of scrap paper. They did not mentioned the interest rate, how much I have paid towards the existing lease, how much remaining and how much could be brought forward, etc.nnUnless you consider yourself very familiar with the industry or have lot of knowledge in car dealership, do not visit this store as they are dishonest and are providing confusing figures/statements to fool you.nnPlease read all previous one star comments and I do echo them!
Their business model feels pretty shady, honestly. First off, the sales advisors don’t seem too interested in actually selling cars. When we asked if they had a specific model, the response was just a flat “no.” We tried asking if they had anything similar or knew when they’d get more in, and again, just “no.” At that point, we figured this wasn’t the place for us, so we started to leave. Just as we’re heading out, the sales advisor says, “You can put down a deposit, and we might get one in about 1.5 years.” I looked right at him and asked, “You really want me to put down a deposit now, wait all that time, and then just hope I’ll like it when it finally arrives? Can we at least testdrive one?” And, you guessed it, another “no,” they didn’t have any on the lot. I mean, who would go for that? Having at least one car available for a test drive before asking for a 1-2 year wait seems pretty reasonable, right? I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just that one sales advisor who was incompetent, maybe the others are actually good, which is why I’m giving them two stars instead of one.nnUpdate: In response to your reply, I'd like to point out that while your gas models may look identical inside and out, they will handle differently due to the added battery weight and the necessary suspension tuning to accommodate that weight—a point also raised by your sales advisor, not just by me. Additionally, the manufacturer will compensate you for any depreciation on demo vehicles, covering any loss if they’re sold below market value. It seems that withholding even one demo car for those willing to wait 1-2 years comes across as unnecessarily profit-driven.
Just bought a 2023 kia Sportage very happy with the service by dan for finding me a great vehicle and Janie for handling the financing.nThe people were very friendly and happy to help.nVery happy with everything I saw at kia thank you.
