Wingate By Wyndham Flint / Grand Blanc

I recently stayed at the Wyndham in grand blanc and it was one of the worst hotel experiences I can remember. I'll admit that when I walked in I thought the lobby was put together and clean and the front desk staff was nice but that was where the positives ended. After a long drive all we wanted to do was unwind and go to bed but immediately upon entering the room there was a very musty odor. The tub in the bathroom was very old and and incredibly worn. The sheets weren't properly put together and the duvet was completely exposed. Also there was a huge streetlight right outside the room which meant we couldn't get the room dark even with closing all the blinds. Overall it was a terrible experience. We checked out as soon as possible in the morning and will not be staying here again

Very nice and clean hotel! However when a snowstorm came the heat didn't work and the bathroom had the LOUDEST fan ever... Good breakfast, kind housekeepers and staff. Oh yeah.... the pool was under construction.

Located in a Flint suburb city of Grand Blanc. Stayed for a weekend. Excellent Front deskk service. Full breakfast bar was a great feature. Overall great place to stay!!

One of the queen beds had stains on the sheets. Base of the alarm clock was so crusty I wasn't going to touch it. The vent for the heat is stopped up with lint and the temperature doesn't work. Set it to 85° and it's still chilly in here. Pillows are stuffed in half into a pillow case, making them hard like a rock. Thank God I brought my own pillows. Not enough blankets on the bed. The manager was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Easy access for disabled. Convenient location to restaurants and freeway. Forgot to mention that the pool AND the spa are closed! This part does upset me because over years of traveling and staying at hotels, I was looking forward to using the pool AND the spa!

We were there for school testing. The lobby area was always clean. The only complaint we had was the smell from the pool chemicals was so strong that even though we never went into the pool area it really bothered my daughter because the smell was so strong.
