Baymont by Wyndham Flint

The building and lobby may look decent on the outside but wait until you see the rooms. Overpriced! Bed skirt hanging off bed. Box spring is filthy. Carpet had stains. Strand of Pubic hair in the shower stall. Not to mention the enormous amount of kids stampeding through the halls. Run Run Run. Don't waste your hard earned money. Oh one more thing, I was double charged for a room I didn't use. So watch your credit card. Now that I mentioned the aweful things. I will give some pros such as the restaurants are in close proximity. The breakfast was decent.

The room and staff here are nice and polite. We had a problem with our tub stopper and they come and fixed it within 10 minutes of the call we had a new stopper. They do have an indoor pool. The site says they have a heated pool and hot tub. The pool was not as warm as stated and the hot tub was colder than the pool. The site also said they had a exercise room and a game room. First there is no game room. Second the exercise room says you must be 18 to enter and it was full of little kids soaked from the pool unattended by any adult figure whatsoever. The same for the pool it states kids under 14 must have an adult present but over 20 kids and no adult. I myself am disabled and couldn't use any of the pool room or exercise room because the floors were soaked as well the wood hallways were soaked. As I'm an above the knee amputee and use crutches leaving the room become a death trap. One wrong move and I slip and hit the floor hard. They need to pay more attention to what is going on it the pool and exercise rooms.

The only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is that it's too close to my house! I have stayed at over 100 hotels in my daily travels for work, this is ONE OF THE BEST by far! It started with a phone call to the GM Eli after a horrible check-in at another Wyndham property nearby and was ended with a fond farewell from all the staff! They went above and beyond in every aspect of our stay! Even after checkout, one of my children left a wallet and Eli personally called to let us know. We had 3 rooms, 2 were connected and one was a family suite. They were all clean and stocked with the toiletry essentials. The beds were comfortable and everything fresh and clean. The pool and hot tub were amazing! Breakfast was better than any of the restaurants and included with the stay!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Rooms were very clean They are kid friendly with great patience towards rambunctious children. The pool was very clean. Thank you for a great night stay.

Horrible service charges me for room 2 nights that I did not use and would not refund. Told me they were privately owned and that Wyndom could not make them refund me.
