This review is for take out only. I'm not a buffet person so I have only ordered delivery. Orders are never wrong. I have ordered from here a lot and I have never had a problem with missing items. I come from Toronto and the food here is exactly what you would get from a Toronto Canadian Chinese restaurant. My favourite Chinese food in Northumberland. After trying a few others I will only order from here.
Food was fine, place was clean, service was great. I arrived for lunch shortly after opening, so they were putting food out in buffet table. It seemed to be fresh, hot then, but as I went back for refills, it seemed to be getting cold. Steam table not turned up high enough? Cold stuff like salads, were fine. As mentioned, food was fine, just wondered why it seemed to be getting cold. This place is not easily wheelchair accessible, there are ten steps up from the parking lot.
At one time I found this place amazing but recently its left me feeling not so well.. first off the food has been over cooked the last few times and extremely salty to where the sodium just smacks you in the face! Even the veggies are salty! As well they are very slow at re filling with fresh items. The one thing actually did enjoy there are the eggs rolls... we did not see them refill the empty container until we were ready to leave 35 mins later... so no rolls for us. My recommendation to them is revamp the items and lower the salt content and try to get some fresh items on the menu as well do more quality checks on what is put out for your customers.
Always good food here... never had any poisonings so that's good. It's cheap and the food is always hot. Only one 2 row buffet with a salad bar as well. 3.5 stars rounded up
Consistently the best Chinese food in Northumberland County. Awesome crispy little chicken wings, very fresh veggies, and everything has lots of flavour. Most Chinese restaurants I have been to use too much spices, have dried food, and not much variety that I like. But Wing Qing is different - very nice ambiance, great staff, and really good food.
Very small selection, however, the price is cheap so you get what you pay for. There’s always 3+ trays empty at any given time, even when there’s hardly anyone there. Also, the servers are very friendly but don’t expect a drink refill without asking twice.
Came here thinking it was a chicken wing buffets, but decided what the hell let’s get oriental up in the bisshh. My honest opinion? Blew my dam overalls off. Small place but dam good grub, & for only 10.75. Not that’s what I call a hoot & a half
One of the best places for Chinese food in Port Hope area. Food tastes authentic. They did not have the largest selection for buffet, but with the amazing buffet price and the amount that is available, it is definately worth it!
They should make smaller batches at a time and recycle the food. I find that the food is dry and overcooked when left out too long. Food needs to be fresh. The price is right though.
We arrived at the end of lunch time. The nice hostess let us take a look at what was left over and we decided to stay. Overall the food was very good.
