Zepos Restaurant

I am always wary of restaurants in such a fabulous tourist location, right on the water front of the harbour. However, we had a wonderful meal and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were attentive but not pushy, and their suggestions all proved excellent, especially the recommendation of the Cretan white wine which went brilliantly with my sea bass. Apart from my sea bass, my wife had prawn linguine after we shared calamari. Pictures say everything.

The food and service were very good. The view of the Old Port is stunning. We had nice shady spot from which we could enjoy the view and the food.

Everything was really good! The mussels were tasty but the sauce was a bit off for me and made it seem extra fishy. The Caesar salad wasn’t bad either. The service was nice and view great of course. The mango mule mocktail was soooo delicious.

Nothing but a tourist trap. Food was the WORST we had our whole trip to greece. Over-cooked greasy food, the rice was dry, salads bland, lack of flavor and seasoning on vegetables and unercooked pizza. The staff was pushy, forcing you to sit in front facing the water as one staff member kept smoking while we ate. The only reason we went here was because they offered a vegan menu for people in our party with with dietary needs. If you are Vegan or vegetarian avoid this place, there are 3 more restaurants close by with options that will not disappoint. This restaurant could not offer 3 items on its vegan menu due to them not having the ingredients to make the dish cause us to choose other options from the already limited menu. Vegetarian options: They have a separate vegan / vegetarian menu and most dishes can be considered vegetarian that is if they have the ingredients to do so. They had NO vegan feta available so that limited the option to only 5 items when we visited. AVOID this place if you are vegan because the quality is not good especially when fully vegan restaurants are only a short walk away. Dietary restrictions: They have options for dietary restrictions, but not worth eating there at all, you need to be drunk to enjoy the food.

LOVED! LOVED! LOVED!! We arrived to Chania after a 3 week stay in Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini, and this was by far the absolute best restaurant we experienced in all of Greece. It was truly authentic with a flare and absolutely delicious. Every single bite and every single sip! The staff were extremely attentive and kind and the atmosphere was clean, modern, hip and fresh. The menus were so easy to read in every language and had excellent descriptions so rare!. AND… they had gluten free and vegan options in which my family needed. Such a rare and unexpected find!!! The view is breath taking and simply delightful. I can not say enough!! The bathrooms were even clean. The food and cocktails were eloquently created and presented AND they tasted better than they looked. They were all a work of art and it was an experience we will never forget. I will say that we will miss this restaurant. It made our stay the absolute best in all of Greece! THANK YOU from the absolute bottom of my heart. My wife and I ate here two times during our stay in Chania because we liked the food, the service, the location, the view and the drinks. Basically nothing more I could wish for.

The fried calamari and pork gyros were amazing. Prices were decent too. Right by the water. Great place to relax. Staff were very friendly.

This is our second evening here. The service is fantastic. The staff remembered us and made us feel at home immediately. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and high quality. Staff are knowledgable and proactive in taking care of you. For instance, comfortable making jokes with us about our order. Especially the beer boots we insisted on ordering.

Pretty good restaurant for lunch. The service was really good. The staff was super friendly and fast. We received our food quickly and enjoyed the beautiful view.
