Unfortunately, my husband and I only discovered this place right at the end of the summer, and it closes for the fall/winter. If we'd found it earlier we would have eaten there all the time. Great food, great views, and the owner/chef/reluctant waiter is really nice and comes out to talk to you. Try the BLAT or any of the burgers, and our kids liked the grilled cheese.

For a prime location, i would've expected for better menu and better food, and i'm not even going to talk about service. i don't like to leave bad reviews for small restaurants, since the world is taken over by corporate chains, but if they loosing business it's their fault.

Nice clean wonderfully decorated place to eat. Great views of the waterfront. Service was fantastic, and we were taken care of. Food was good, but a little too pricey for what you get. Have received more for less elswhere.

I am not sure why this place has good reviews. The only thing it has going is the patio being so close to the water. My husband and I ordered the benedicts. The salmon tasted like it had gone bad. The potatoes were drenched in oil. We ordered decaf and it was instant. Pancakes were out of a box. We still paid $60. Please find a restaurant that actually has cooks that cook. I love Port Hope and will definitely be trying somewhere else next time I visit. The price of Crawdord's is way to high and quality way too low. To sum it up - if you want quality food do NOT EAT HERE!

Good food. Good view. Service is painfully slow and unfriendly. Open doors draw a very annoying amount of flies.
