Story

The Windsor Diner is best known for it's traditional American food. Some of the most popular items on the menu are our fresh hamburgers and homemade fries & onion rings. We have homemade bread & muffins daily. We also have many homemade desserts. Come in and try our homemade meatloaf or macaroni & cheese which are included on our daily delights menu or come & try one of our daily specials.

First timer and the food was very good. It's a small old dinning car so the seating was a little tight. The waitress was friendly and quick.
LOOK OUT FOR MOLD! Went to the diner today for lunch. To start server was very rude like we were bothering her for coming in. She was snappy at my 12 year when he asked for no cheese on his sandwich. But what topped it off is she brought our 3 drinks and then brought my two year drink by itself and the apple juice has mold pores floating on top. I am very disappointed at the overall experience and of course we did not eat there.
We stopped in for lunch on a Friday and the place wasn’t too busy, but steady. The waitress/cook seemed to be annoyed and not at all friendly. The prices were a bit higher than I expected, but not bad. The food wasn’t fancy but it was tasty.nnIt certainly has the look and feel of an old fashioned car diner. Delivered in the 50s and has not been updated, but that’s ok for the nostalgia.nnBesides the waitress seeming annoyed, it is ridiculous that they charge for fountain refills when the initial cost is $3.50. You should get at least one refill for that price.
Absolutely great breakfast, Hillbilly Bennie was fantastic as was the standard issue Bennie. Home fries some of the best serve had. Friendly prompt service, everything very clean, homey atmosphere. Great diner experience!
My favorite old school diner in all of Vermont. Very no frills, nothing fancy style — but if you’re looking for a classic eggs, bacon and pancakes breakfast or something along that vein this is the place. The fact that it’s in an old train/trolley car is an added bonus for retro feel.
