Harpoon Brewery Riverbend Taps and Beer Garden

Really great tours. Every hour on the hour. Tours are $5 per person. For that you get the tour, a tasting glass and what really boils down to as many tastings as you want. Tour guides are really friendly and informative. They have a bar and pub food there also. Didn t taste but it wasn't too expensive. Also on the site is a cheese store, a jam store, and a new distillery. The distillery tasting is free.

I will admit that Harpoon was low on my list of priorities when it came to breweries to visit. I am glad I finally made it in, though. Such a big brewery that started out of state, I went in prepared not to see any new or interesting brews I you can't get at most grocery stores. I was wrong, t though. The food was great, the staff friendly, and most importantly they had a variety of new/unique beers on tap I'd never seen before. I brought home a four pack of the Clown Shoes imperial stout and really like it. Clown Shoes used to be a somewhat separate operation who's beer was brewed by Harpoon, but now is fully a part of the Harpoon operation. I'll keep my eyes open for that stuff in stores.

Visited here for drinks and dinner. Beer selection was great and cider. Meals were not the best had the pesto burger and pulled pork sandwich, the burger buns were very dry and tasted powdery. The pretzel was delicious

Perfect stop after a hike up Ascutney. Good food; solid beer list , great atmosphere.

My wife and I always enjoy it.We are locals. But its definitely a must if your just visiting.
