When we pulled up in our boat on the long weekend Sunday August 6th the place was beautiful, nicely manicured and I was looking forward to a lovely dinner with my husband. We didn't have a reservation but it wasn't too busy upstairs, we asked if we could sit in he dining room which was empty and we were told they were fully booked. We were told to have a seat on the packed patio at the pub...we said we wanted the lamb and pickerel off the dining room menu and we got a table, which was nice because we had no reservation. I noticed that the upstairs patio wasn't very full at all but it was all reserved. We ordered our dinner at 7:10pm. We got our mussels shortly after about 25 minutes, which were delicious. An hour later we were told our dinner was coming shortly so we decided to go outside and sit and drink our beverages while we waited as it was a nice evening. The the patio was full now but we had our order in over an hour ago so surely it wouldn't be too much longer. Another hour later with know one even coming to say sorry it's on it's way while we tracked down someone for another glass of wine and more water (we were not the only ones who were waiting either, at least 3 other couples who clearly had reservations were waiting longer then us for their meals) we got our meal place In front of us! It was the wrong order! My husband ordered the pickerel and was brought out the lake trout and my food was cold! After waiting 2.5 hours for a meal which was suppose to be a nice dinner we left hungry and extremely frustrated! Why would the staff not let us know it was going to be 2.5 hours for a simple dinner for two? Did they forget about the tables In the dining room? It was unacceptable and completely ruined the rest of our evening as by the time we got back across the lake everything was closed and we were left starving for night. I am in the restaurant business and communication with your customers is key! I would have been fine if someone had told us maybe to go to the sushi bar or back to the pub because the kitchen upstairs was swamped! But know one said anything!!

Went twice in 3 days while renting a cottage nearby. First visit, on a Thursday evening was amazing. Food was great and service on point. Second visit was a Sunday evening and they were visibly busy and that affected the service level severely. Overall a great gem!

Went for a wedding. Unfortunately it rained the whole weekend but still had a great time! The property was beautiful! Right on the water! Big rooms with the comfiest bed I've ever slept it!!! Great staff. Overall good experience! Would definitely go back to attempt to get on the golf course this time!

Beautiful property and area. Wait staff was a bit slow during lunch and breakfast but it was busy. The elevator went out of service right after we arrived and was out for our entire stay. Only 3 floors though so not too bad.

Pretty good food. Great views, but service is a little funky as they change over to new food management.
