Pine Lodge Country Inn

My family and I stayed for 3 nights and our experience here was magical! A bonfire at night with all the rest of the guests, a starry night with clear sky. Truly awesome. The new owner has a vision for this place and is super sweet. Appreciated constructive criticism. Felt like home away from home.

WONDERFUL! The inn just changed ownership in March 2017. Because of that there are a few things that are still in the works but it provided everything that a hotel would provide, clean sheets and towels, a beautiful room. A big plus was the hospitality that we received, the owner served us above and beyond our expectations. He offered us free drinks while we relaxed in the lounge. They have board games, books and magazines galore. They also have a PS3 with a few games that they allow you to play. Overall, an excellent experience.

Pine Lodge is wonderful and it's only going to keep getting better. The original 1927 property has seen a series of updates under the watchful eye of Jim (owner) with a taste for elegant design. Soon Jim will onboard a new Chef taking the dining experience to a new level....bring on the local farmers Jimmy! Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Bathrooms have been well renovated. The Pine Lodge location is perfect, a short walk to the waterfront with scenic car rides to neighbouring towns, such as Huntsville and Port Carling ensure a day of exploring restaurants, waterfront bars, and picturesque scenery. For those of you looking for some great local dinning finds: 1) "The Grand Electric" in Port Carling 2) The small but tasty taco stand next to Boston Pizza in Huntsville by the river.

What a great experience it was at the Muskoka Pine Lodge. The rooms are very nice and the beds will make you feel like your’re in heaven. Thanks to the owner Jimmy he helped us with anything we needed and had great chefs cook amazing food. Not to mention it’s a 3-5 minute walk to the water and rapids.

We could have booked our 4 day mini-getaway at one of the big splashy resorts but chose Pine Lodge instead as it looked quaint and more peaceful. We couldn't be happier with our decision. The room was lovely and spacious with the most comfortable bed! The lounge and dining areas were equally as inviting. The owner, Jim, takes great pride in his property and in treating each and every guest with warmth and a genuine desire to make their experience personalized and unforgettable. We especially enjoyed the nightly bonfires filled with great conversation, laughs and the peaceful sounds of nature. We were sad to say goodbye but we will most certainly be back again
