Cedar Grove Lodge

We loved our stay at Cedar Grove! Because all of the meals are included, it was very relaxing, and we got to spend all of our time playing outdoors, and relaxing by the fireplace. There was more than enough equipment that we could borrow, including skates, cross country skis, snow shoes and toboggans. The food was very good, and there was a vegetarian option at every meal; for the one meal when there wasn’t a vegetarian option on the menu, they provided us with a vegetarian meal when we asked. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, and the cabin we stayed in, the Grey Owl, was very cozy and clean. We will definitely visit again, probably in the summer so we can canoe, swim and kayak.

The food is amazing they give huge servings you can ask for anything more or less food. Thet serve gluten free and organic and vegetarian dishes. All food is fresh, delivered daily. The staff are fun and respectful. Housekeeping daily if wanted. Main lodge has fireplace games room in lower level with vending machines and ice. They have board games you can play in lodge or in your cottage. All cottages have wood birning fireplaces. Rustic and homey. With modern touches. If you are a birder, cedar grove is a bird's paradise. Deer sightings. Bonny the head server is always trying to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Lake front cottages, private and quiet. Cedar grove welcomes all including kids and animals. All meals are served in the dinning room. Come see for yourself you won't be disappointed!

This was our second time staying here, our first since having kids. It was great both times. The cottage had a fantastic view of the lake. The staff everywhere were all very friendly and very helpful. Meals were always amazing, the chef is definitelygood at what they do. I don't have anything negative about Cedar Grove. We are already planning our next trip back.

Amazing place, everyone is so kind, like being at the grandparents. Beautiful up here during the winter months. Lots of free activities, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, tobogganing, lake skating, ice fishing (they set everything up for you, from cutting the whole in the ice to setting up the hut), pool, shuffle board, ping pong, foosball plus some other activities. The cabins are immaculate, very cozy, unlimited firewood for the fireplace that the staff do an excellent job keeping stocked. The included meals in the dining area are incredible, very delicious. This is our second year coming here and we will definitely be returning.

My only complaint would have to be that food portions were so big that I had to send my plate back with lots of leftover food. The food and service was excellent. The cabin was clean.
