Story

Willie's opened 25 years ago and it continues to grow in popularity. From the extensive menu, hungry visitors favour the Willie Burger created with its quarter-pound charbroiled beef burger topped with peameal bacon, cheese, Famous Willie's Homemade BBQ Sauce and condiments of your choice. Other favourites include chicken-on-a-bun, homestyle BBQ chicken and ribs and Lake Erie yellow perch.

Willie's offers both outdoor patio seating as well as an indoor air-conditioned seating area. For many people a stroll on the pier includes a stop at Willie's for an ice-cream cone.

Willie's is open 7 days a week. Our 2016 season starts March 3rd.

First time visiting but it was worth it! The frozen yogurt was so delicious! Flavours were so natural and low sugar content. Very very good, and I'm coming from Toronto where you can find lots of variety! This one has been the best frozen yogurt so far. Can't talk about the food tho cuz we never ordered anything for eating.
Food was hot, dessert was cold, perfectly balanced as all things should be. I had never seen goat milk ice cream before so we tried it and it was super yummy. Nice place all around, important to note they don't take credit though
Very dissapointed. The poutine did not have real cheese curds, seemed to use shredded mozzarella. The person who took our order told my mom the haddock pieces in the haddock dinner were “big” but we were very disappointed with their size. Two stingy pieces. Would not recommend, look elsewhere if you’re craving fish and chips.
We come quite often. We love the tornadoes. The portion size is a little off. One piled way above the top, the other about an inch below the top of the cup. I see the tip boxes out and all I can say is, if you want to make tips, you have to be nicer, smile and pretend you like your job and like people. The kids here aren’t very customer service oriented. Most of them border on rude to be honest.
I have to say, the food was very good and hot! This is a ‘walk up and order’ place so prepare to wait if it’s busy. I had the perch dinner and my wife had the rib dinner. Ad a hotdog, some fries and drinks - $50. A bit high for lunch in my opinion.
Popular spot here on the beach for ice cream and food. Had the fish and chips which was really good value! Three pieces off haddock, coleslaw, fries and a roll. Surprisingly good. Can’t go wrong here as there is something for everyone!! Great spot!!
Lost a star because Restroom out of order. Had the Perch dinner and I have to say it was awesome. Crispy coating that did not overwhelm the fish. Fries nicely done. Creamy coleslaw and a bun to boot. Had a lemonade and sat on the patio looking out at the water.
It's a taste of summer. It's very classic beach food. They do make their own ketchup which I do love when having one of their footlong hotdogs. Others can find it a wee on the watery side. They have plenty of garnishes for their burgers and hot dogs but don't even dare trying to use them for anything else, you will be promptly scolded. The patio is great and right on the beach. They also have an indoor seating area in case it rains or is a little chilly. Overall it's a great non chain fast food restaurant.
To be announced. Stay tuned! There was a discrepancy about the amount of cash that I gave the server. After the cash in and out was calculated the next day I was quickly reimbursed the $10 in question via etransfer. Employee had a VERY short memory that day but Management did what they could as quickly as they could to make things right. PS The food was awesome
Decent food. Classic Dover items. Nothing to be excited about. Nice patio. We love going in the spring and fall when it is not so busy. #localFood: 4/5
