A nice blast from the past! I go here a few times a year with the family and I always get the perch and chips with the amazing salad bar; I especially love the marshmallow salad! Service has always been good, and they use locally sourced ingredients, always a plus.

This restaurant is an experience. I got a perch plate, which was expensive but excellent and not over-breaded like some other local places. The “salad bar” is a strange hooded cart with various sugary/salty/pickled salad bowls that pulls right up to your table. I’ve never seen anything like it. They’re not bad, but probably appreciated more if you’re nostalgic or looking to try some ‘50s style salads.

Best pickle/salad tray of any restaurant ever. They still make pickled pumpkin as a family for the restaurant.

Very casual, good service and food. Arrive early on weekends.

It's like stepping back in time! The salad bar (if you can call it that) was an experience. The service is good but the food ranges from bland to the strange, you have to try the lemon jello and horseradish squares, yes you read that right. You're better off to just pass by altogether. Although your Grandmother may enjoy it.
