The Beach House

Wonderful waitress. Kind and efficient and very good with our two grand daughters. Food was tasty but the kids chicken finger were overcooked and dry. Even the waitress said I can take them back and our grand daughter said it was okay and our waitress took the off the bill. All in all a good time wad had.

Great deck area right on the beach. Even though they were busy on a Sunday afternoon the service was fast and we were well looked after. Few of us had the fish tacos, lobster grilled cheese and perch special. All knockouts!

Saturday July 30, our table of 3 had a Fantastic young man as a server, who took special care due to my son's severe food allergies. We had an acceptable plate of nachos and a delicious chicken Caesars salad. Unfortunately my son's chicken was not thoroughly cooked and still pink in the middle. We asked nicely that they simply throw it back on the grill to cook it properly. The poor waiter was made to bring it back still not properly cooked and told that the chicken was cooked enough! I told my son not to eat it. When the server returned to ask if everything was okay. I said "no the chicken still is not cooked throughout" The waiter went to the Manager and removed my son's meal from the bill. Unfortunately we will not be returning to the Beach House :( It is a shame as we enjoyed eating there regularly and always brought our visiting family and friends to the Beach House. The fact that the chef has not been properly trained concerning Salmonella and the high risk of disease that raw chicken can cause to the digestive system is very concerning! Port Dover Residents and Tourists Beware!

We ordered the lobster and crab dip, it was very good even though I didn't like the tortillas, they weren't fresh but the dip made up for this. The view is great it is located just right the lake and you can even see the lighthouse. Service was fast and superb!

Had lunch there today and it was great!! We were seated and served promptly. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is fantastic!! I recommend the perch tacos. 😁
