My Outpatient Surgery Center experience was totally positive.nI was greeted and registered promptly and called into the preop area on time.nMy admitting nurse was friendly and efficient and made me feel confident and comfortable.nThe anesthesia staff was informative and knowledgeable as was my surgeon, Dr Toole.nMy post op nurse was very kind and treated me respectfully. Her care was excellent.nAs a nurse myself, I was very impressed that everything was done professionally and correctly from start to finishnVery impressive!
My experience with the surgeon and others getting me ready for my catherization were excellent. Once taken to my room for an overnight stay care was terrible. I saw nurses when I first entered my room but whenever I used my call button nobody seldom came to check on me. The only person I saw was the person who brought my dinner tray. It took forever for
The staff did not listen to the concerns I had, did not treat the condition I needed treated, and the second nurse on duty was incredibly rude and smug and dismissive. She had no idea about my health history and asked who sent me to the ER and if I was seeing a specialist for my “so-called condition “ . I will never return to that ER again. I went in due to a low sodium problem and at one point, they managed to lower it even further. All they cared about was treating me for the flu, which I was already five days into. The reason I was there is because the flu caused my electrolyte imbalance. The doctor was monitoring my sodium level via bloodwork and he ordered another test to be taken. I waited over an hour and then I heard the technician come down and say that she was confused because she didn’t know if he wanted to use the same blood draw or take another one. Are you kidding me? As if the first one was going to change through osmosis or something? I basically wasted nine hours of my life and an ER co-pay and left there worse than the one I came in.
My recent experience when I underwent an MRI was positive in every way. Intake was smooth and easy; the MRI staff were personable and professional; and the facilities and equipment were clean and modern. Everyone and everything was first-rate.
My experience at the outpatient surgical center was smooth and easy. From the beginning with calls from scheduling, to the personnel at the reception area, everyone was kind, efficient and caring. The nurses and doctors that prepared me, conducted the procedure, and cared for me in recovery were excellent and compassionate right up to helping me into my niece’s car.
