Just left Honda in Whitby after a poor experience. I’m from out of town, already did all the work on which car I want, which model, what colour and was approved for Financing at another dealership.   I walked in the Sales Manager connected me with a Salesman, Jonathan H.  He gave me some good information and explored a couple of options. Seemed very knowledgeable and straight to the point which is what I like. I told him exactly what the other dealership offered and wondered if they could offer a better deal. He informed me if I give him a great review on google, he will. He offered me a better deal but pressured me to do it that minute with a fairly curt attitude. He wouldn’t show me the paperwork, he just told me the numbers. When I hesitated, he laughed, gave me a solid eye roll and said he knew I wasn’t serious and I won’t go through with it and he will move onto his next customer. I make no apologies for taking my time and ensuring this purchase is something I’m comfortable with. I want buying a car to be a positive and enjoyable experience. I want to be treated respectfully, fairly and without pressure so I said good-bye to Whitby Honda and the only reason I’ll look back is to tell everyone I know about my experience.   I’d rather pay more and be treated better elsewhere. Perhaps Nissan is interested in my 30K ?

I came in with a long list of demands. I wanted a certain car, very specific colour and model within budget. I spoke to Dan who was extremely helpful with finding the right car. We test drove the car I thought I wanted but once I returned from the driving it, I knew this was not the one. Dan suggested a similar model with the same features, slightly different colour and I LOVED it. Dan’s patience and willingness to allow me the time to think thru my decision was greatly appreciated. He confirmed all the details of the purchase and reassured me that he was available to answer any questions, should they arise. Dan called me a few days after the sale to confirm that the car was everything I had hoped for – which it was. 

Absolutely the best experience purchasing a vehicle EVER. Dan was an absolute delight to deal with - knowledgeable, professional, genuine and humble, all around amazing!

This is the second car that I have purchased from Whitby-Oshawa Honda, and Nick has helped me both times. He is very friendly and professional, and always made sure to keep me fully informed. I never felt pressured to purchase, and he answered all of my questions promptly, even via text! Thank you for helping me out with both of my cars Nick, I am very happy with my newest. 

I also dealt with Ashley in finance. She was very kind, and went through all of my options with me to make sure I understood. Again, there was no pressure to upgrade any services, and I was really happy dealing with her.

I highly recommend Whitby Oshawa Honda  — great dealership, good location and an amazing team in all departments, including Service. I especially recommend working with Dan O. if you are purchasing/leasing. He takes the time to ask questions, to recommend the best vehicles to fit your needs, and to answer all questions. He is highly responsive and reliable, and wonderfully straightforward to work with. Thanks again, Dan — I love my new Honda and it was an easy and fun process to test drive and buy.

Just traded in my Porsche 911 for a newer model at the dealership. Jason Nghiem was just fantastic. We went back and forth on email where I got all my questions answered. When I went into the store to complete the transaction, everything was as Jason had promised. Also got to meet his sales managers who were very polite and low key/pressure.... I've bought many cars in the past and this was an excellent experience.... Jeff
