I just called this medicentre to book an appointment, whether that was online or in person, I just wanted to get help for my lung problems. Once I did call I had a conversation with a very rude receptionist who would not let me book an appointment, did not offer any options or accommodations, and just gave me a story about all the people they already had. This has left me feeling pretty hopeless and upset as the receptionist was not understanding or compassionate. Will never come here again and will tell my family and friends about my experience.
Receptionists and nurses are nice but they need to fix their order of priority. people coming in for walk in checkups were getting in before folks who were clearly in pain and needed help. wait times are discgraceful
Dr.J.Kumpula is more than just a regular doctor, he provides advice and actually cares about my well-being. It is busy but that's what appointments are for, and have your questions ready beforehand.
I came here for my treatment today and the service was on time, fast and efficient. Mohamed and Dr. Kumpoola saw me for my treatment. They were professional, helpful, and have a kind demeanor. I've been coming here for my treatments and prescriptions but my previous experiences weren't that great. I usually wait for a couple of hours even if I have an appointment. Today was different and I hope it continues to be exceptional. :
*Disregard these horrific 1 star reviews. For 15 years I have come here for different work place injuries as well as my own . From muscle tears to joint pains Stitches illness you name it. It is a smaller staffed location but they make up for it with dedication and raw perosonality. Its truely a diamond in the rough.. I'm greeted with smiles and laughter because the energy you bring In makes a difference. Any extended wait time to see one of these guys is well worth it. Thank you all for years of caring.
Lazy doctors, rude receptionist! I waited 2 hours & 41 minutes, though I had an appointment! In the room, I had to wait another 39 minutes!! . I walked out & vowed never to return. I totally agree that service here is absolutely zero!!!
The staff and the doctors are amazing. I've been here about a dozen times and there's a reason they are always busy. This is honestly the best experience I've had at a clinic, and I would recommend this place to anyone.
I had an appointment with my family doctor yesterday, October 14 at the Downtown location but I got an urgent message to call them back hours before my schedule. Because of a fire incident, I was advised that Dr Campbell would be temporarily seeing his patients at Westgrove or I could wait two weeks when they reopen. I was given the phone number and the address and I called right away to schedule. I have been calling since yesterday and have been trying to contact the clinic but all I get is a recorded message and an option to 1 enter an extension line, 2 leave a message or 3 dial "0" for the operator. I have been trying to get to the operator but every time, it would say the operator is not available and it would disconnect. I tried for an hour but to no avail. So, I tried to leave a message but it asks for a mailbox and later even asked for a password! I've worked at customer service for over 10 years and this is UNACCEPTABLE! Especially for a medical facility! NO, this is not an emergency but I have to see my doctor and it would be nice to at least talk to somebody! I've been going to the Downtown location and never had a problem with talking to the staff for whatever reason, but in this location, it's beyond worse. You probably need new staff who are willing to give good, prompt service.
short staffed , yet somehow still seeing as much patients as they can. the wait is long but the volume of patients is also just as long . thank you for everything you do !
Absolutely terrible clinic. Had to go as my mom needed a covid test to fly home and the older receptionist was a nightmare to deal with. She was pulling her mask down the entire time, coughing, sniffling, blowing her nose and then wouldn't put her mask back up, and it was obvious she was sick. She tried telling my mom she didn't have an appointment as both her and I had confirmation of the appointment, receptionist asked when we booked, my mom looked and said the 3rd to which the receptionist asked "what about the 3rd" like she didn't just ask a question. I was listening to her on the phone and she would lie to clients. She would tell them they can't come in because she had a huge lineup, phones blowing up yet there was 2 people in the waiting room and no one calling. After my mom checked in she told her "well, we'll get to you when we get to you" as she was adding on more people for 1 persons appointment, pushing my moms appointment from 11 to almost 1. Doctor was fine, was in and out in 10 minutes but the receptionist ruined everything. Not only that but the clinic itself was filthy.
