Brother's autopsy report says "heart attack exacerbated by diabetes". He didn't have diabetes or heart disease.
No personal effects ever recovered from anyone, including wallet with large sum of money.
Told I could get copy of toxicology report in 8-12 weeks (? really?) for a fee of $10. No problem.
Spoke today with "boss" of coroner's office = he said my brother DIDN'T HAVE AN AUTOPSY because he "wasn't shot or anything" and died at home. Came up with cause of death based on the answers given by his LANDLADY when they found him. I called immediately upon being informed of his passing and they never asked me about his medical records.
No tox report will be coming because they didn't do one. My brother was bipolar and had a substance abuse problem. OD? Suicide? Homicide? Now we'll NEVER KNOW WHY OR HOW HE DIED because of the gross ineptitude of these people who show about as much compassion for the families as they would a rat off the street. Need to be investigated.

The primary cause of death for my brother is listed on my brother's death certificate as Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease. The medical examiner's name on the death certificate is Lokmon Sung, MD. Would this examiner's conclusion be because he is a Black male? An autopsy was not permitted. He was under Hospice Care for advanced COPD NOT arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
This is a major mistake. I would like to know where the medical examiner came to their conclusion. Medicaid, Medicare, Probate Court and the insurance company were informed my brother has advanced COPD.
